Typically, when Google switches from an AI Overview to AI Mode, the button labeled “See More” or a similar phrase is used to prompt the transition. Recently, however, Google has been testing a new call-to-action button that reads “Enter AI Mode.”
This change was observed by Radu Oncescu, who shared a screenshot on X social media. The screenshot shows the interface with the new button label, providing a clear indication of entering AI Mode.
Personally, this new phrasing seems more intuitive because it accurately describes what the action will do. While “See More” might imply simply displaying additional search results—which isn’t always the case—”Enter AI Mode” clearly indicates the transition into an AI-driven experience.
