On August 31st, Alibaba’s Qianwen announced the launch of their new Agent Teams feature within the Qianwen Creative platform, now supporting the Wan3.0 video generation model. This innovative tool allows users to simply share their creative ideas, and the Agent Teams system autonomously organizes and delegates tasks among various specialized agents, including writers, directors, art designers, and video generators. These agents work together seamlessly to handle the entire production process, from initial concept development and scriptwriting to character design, storyboarding, visual creation, voiceover, music, and final editing.
According to official sources, the key breakthrough with Agent Teams lies in shifting the creative process from “writing prompts” to “generating ideas.” Users no longer need to possess expertise in prompt engineering; instead, they just provide a general creative direction, and the system intelligently dissects the task, dispatching appropriate expert agents to execute each part. Currently, Agent Teams is available on both the PC version of Qianwen Creative and the Qianwen App.
This integrated workflow enables users—ranging from individual creators to marketing teams—to produce various content types, including short dramas, animated series, promotional videos, and graphic designs, all within a single platform. By streamlining collaboration among multiple specialized AI agents, Alibaba aims to democratize content creation and boost efficiency across creative industries.
