Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad has responded to widespread online backlash after his recent appearance at a concert in Hurghada. He pointed out that audiences are often attracted to the odd and unconventional, and that this fascination has become a significant part of his recent artistic expression.

On the show “Arab Wood,” Ahmed Saad explained, “People dislike pictures of someone nice and well-dressed, but I dress like that with my kids when I go out; I always dress well.”

He mentioned that his on-stage performances are distinctly different from his everyday look, highlighting a clear separation between his personal and professional personas.
The artist further stated that showcasing uncommon ideas and appearances has become a tool for self-expression during his performances. He added, “People love the unusual, and this has become part of my craft—letting audiences see me do extraordinary things.”

This new project follows his “Sad Album,” released mid-April, which features five tracks ranging from dramatic to melancholic—an artistic style that has contributed significantly to his popularity.
