Los Angeles: Tom Holland, the renowned star from Hollywood, has disclosed that he frequently searches for his girlfriend, Zendaya, on Google.
During a recent appearance on Samah Dada’s podcast ‘On The Menu,’ the 28-year-old actor shared that he sometimes conducts an online search for Zendaya to ensure her well-being, as reported by ‘People’ magazine.
“The most recent thing I googled was actually Zendaya,” Holland stated while promoting his new non-alcoholic beverage brand, Bero.
He explained, “I’m not active on social media, and I remove it when I’m not using it. Sometimes it stems from a bit of anxiety, so I check to see if everything is okay and that we’re good. I simply give her a quick Google to browse the news and reassure myself that she’s doing fine.”
‘People’ noted that Tom’s affection for Zendaya was clearly evident at the launch party for his Bero brand in New York City. In a well-circulated video, he was seen intervening to protect the ‘Challengers’ actress from fans clamoring for autographs, gently taking her hand and guiding her away from the crowd while requesting, “Please give us some space.”
He also directed a photographer to step aside to clear a path for himself and Zendaya as they left the event to reach their car.
The couple, who first crossed paths while filming ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2017, began their romantic relationship in 2021, but they have chosen to keep many aspects of their relationship private. Zendaya has previously addressed the challenge of balancing a private relationship amid public scrutiny in an interview with ‘Elle.’
She remarked, “I can’t stop being a person and living my life or loving the one I love. Hiding isn’t an option, and that wouldn’t be enjoyable. I’m learning to navigate this more than ever.”
“It’s about maintaining peace while still allowing things to belong to you but not being afraid to be visible,” she added.
