The Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1 marks the first chance to compete against other players and allows participants to earn emblems that can enhance their player profile. If you’re short on Emblem Tickets, this is an excellent way to add some style to your profile!
What Is The Genetic Apex Emblem Event?
The Genetic Apex Emblem Event is a Player vs. Player (PvP) competition that runs from November 7, 2024, to November 28, 2024, giving players a full three weeks to achieve as many PvP victories as they can.
It seems the event timing in Pokemon TCG Pocket is set to Central Time, but the start and end times adjust to your local time zone. Be sure to check your app for the exact event timings.
Throughout this event, you can join Event Battles to earn emblems for your profile, which are based on your battle wins. You’ll also accumulate extra Pack Hourglasses and Shinedust simply for participating in these matches.
Genetic Apex Emblem Event Missions And Rewards
The highlight of the Genetic Apex Emblem Event is the chance to earn four new emblems. These emblems are purely cosmetic and can be shown on your profile; they will also appear under your player icon during matchups. Before this event, most emblems could only be purchased from the Shop using Emblem Tickets.

Genetic Apex Emblem Event Tips
The Genetic Apex Emblem Event is a PvP contest, so be sure to bring your most competitive deck. Many players haven’t fully optimized their decks yet, so don’t be discouraged if your deck consists of a Pikachu ex with just one copy and no Zapdos ex.
We’ve had success winning with the Rapidash tutorial deck, and our Blaine deck has managed about a 50% win rate even with its weaknesses in the current environment.
Keep an eye on what decks you are likely to face. The Pikachu ex deck is among the easiest to create and use, so you’ll likely see many variations of that strategy.
The event lasts for 21 days, meaning you can earn the Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1 Gold Emblem by winning just over two games each day. However, as players accumulate more cards, you may come across stronger decks as the event progresses. Therefore, it might be more beneficial to focus on gaining wins early rather than waiting until the last minute.
After each match, thank your opponent to ensure they receive a Shop Ticket. Additionally, check your messages to see if any opponents extended the same courtesy. This can also be a great chance to send friend requests to international players for access to foreign-language cards.
This event has no stamina constraints or cooldowns, allowing you to play as many matches as you wish while waiting for the recharge of your Event Stamina, enabling you to continue your quest for Lapras ex Event packs.
