While exploring in Metaphor: ReFantazio, you will come across peculiar little orb-like foes known as Elmentas. These elusive enemies are infrequently spotted, usually appearing alone in dungeons or specific areas, and they can be quite challenging to defeat for a few reasons.

What Are Elmenta?
Elmentas are unique elemental enemies that can be found in various dungeons or encountered while on the Gauntlet Runner. These foes will attempt to evade you as soon as they spot you, requiring you to give chase.
It’s a good strategy to land a few hits before initiating a Squad Battle, as you want the Elmenta to be stunned during its first turn. If it successfully uses its first Turn Icon, it will escape immediately. The more Turn Icons you have at your disposal, the better your chances of victory.
Taking down Elmentas is worthwhile because defeating them offers significantly higher amounts of MAG, cash, and experience points compared to regular encounters.
If you possess the Steal ability, you can swipe rare items from Elmentas, including valuable gems that can be sold for a good amount of gold.
