In a significant development for smartphone enthusiasts, OPPO has unveiled the Find X8 Pro, showcasing a remarkable combination of lightweight design, exceptional performance, and long-lasting battery life.
On October 10, OPPO’s Vice President, Zhou Yibao, announced that the Find X8 Pro has achieved what many have deemed an impossible feat: a slim build paired with peak performance and endurance. The device measures just 8.2 mm in thickness, weighs 210 grams, and features a camera bump of 3 mm, all of which are notably smaller than the recently released iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Zhou emphasized that while competitors’ high-end models boast impressive imaging technology and top-tier performance, they commonly suffer from three major drawbacks: excessive thickness, considerable weight, and protruding camera lenses. These factors can detract from the user experience, making the device less pleasant to hold and use.
The Find X8 Pro aims to eliminate these issues while maintaining exceptional gaming capabilities and dual periscope camera technology, achieving unprecedented levels of lightness and durability. It features a 1.5K full-depth micro-curved display, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, and includes a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto quad-camera system. The phone is equipped with a robust glacier battery and runs on the latest ColorOS 15 operating system.
The OPPO Find X8 Pro is set to launch on October 24, and industry experts are eager to see how it stands up against competing flagship devices.
