iOS 18.1 Introduces New Selfie Option for iPhone 16

Apple has introduced iOS 18.1 beta 5 specifically for developers, featuring an exciting new feature for the iPhone 16’s Camera Control. Users can now easily toggle between the device’s rear and front-facing cameras through this updated Camera Control interface.

To access this new functionality, follow these simple steps:

  1. Launch the camera application, then tap on the Camera Control button to display the menu.
  2. Look for the “Cameras” section.
  3. Swipe to the far left to reveal a new option for the selfie camera.

This update adds to a range of existing Camera Control features available for iPhone 16 owners, allowing users to switch cameras, fine-tune zoom and exposure levels, and customize styles and tones, among other functionalities.

Currently, iOS 18.1 beta 5 is accessible to developers engaged in beta testing. A public beta release is expected to become available later this week.
