Lenovo is introducing its Lenovo Flex 5G in the race of 5G laptops, which is to be released by the 18th of June at $1,399.99 as the world’s first 5G laptop as the Verizon exclusive.
The Flex 5G is supported by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx professor which makes it the initial laptop to be available with the latest laptop chipset of Qualcomm. It was announced back at CES 2020 under the name of Yoga 5G, this name would still be used at some markets. Lenovo shared that their 8cx will bring a good battery life gains that would be promising a maximum of 24 hours of use from a single charge.
Lenovo Flex 5G Specifications
The rest specs that Lenovo 5G maintain are the simple ones; 8GB of RAM, a multitouch IPS display of 14 inches (1920 x 1080), double USB-C ports, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Windows 10 Pro, a fingerprint sensor and a headphone jack.
That is different from the Qualcomm X55 5G modem, which is well-known for allowing the 5G enabled smartphones such as; the Microsoft Edge Plus or Samsung Galaxy S20, which held the laptop debut here and attracted support for not only their LTE but for both; sub-6GHz 5G and mmWave networks.
To move further with the Flex 5G, probably future tablet and laptop devices, Verizon would also launch their new 5G Ultra Wideband Connected device strategy. It may cost either $30 each month (if appended to any present unlimited package of Verizon) or, $90 each month if utilized on its own.

The Flex 5G won’t be restricted forever with Verizon as Lenovo is planning to partner with Sunrise of Switzerland, CMCC of China, and EE in the UK as other launches for 2020. Lenovo Flex 5G is now made available to preorder from today’s date ay Verizon for $1,399.99, approximately, by Device Payment Program of Verizon.
