Digital Phablet – Devrim Özkan experienced an incredibly emotional day on the set of Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever 3 after learning the heartbreaking news of her grandmother’s passing.
The actress, who plays Mavi in the highly anticipated film, received the tragic news on the final day of filming. What was meant to be a joyful celebration for completing production quickly turned into a moment of profound sadness for Özkan and everyone around her.
She attended the film’s press conference with her co-star Mehmet Günsür, director İpek Sorak, and producers Ömer Faruk Sorak and Roksana Diker. During the event, she struggled to keep back tears as she grappled with her loss.
The press gathering was organized to mark the conclusion of filming and to provide the cast and production team an opportunity to share their experiences working on the franchise’s third installment. The film is produced by Böcek Film and Benesta, with Ömer Faruk Sorak and Roksana Diker managing the production. Directed by İpek Sorak, it stars Mehmet Günsür and Devrim Özkan.
In the movie, Özkan portrays Mavi, the central female figure, while Günsür continues his role as Özgür, a character from the original series. The story introduces a fresh love narrative while maintaining the franchise’s core themes of chance, destiny, affection, and emotional bonds. Mavi’s life takes an unexpected twist when she encounters Özgür, bringing these two characters together through circumstances shaped by their complex pasts.

Filming kicked off in July and wrapped up in Ankara. Now that production is complete, the project moves forward to its theatrical release.
In the wake of her grandmother’s passing, Özkan took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the condolences she received. She shared an emotional message on her story, describing her grandmother as a very special person and wishing her loved ones long, beautiful, and healthy lives. She wrote:
