  • How to Heal in Vampire Crawlers by Completing and Solving

How to Heal in Vampire Crawlers by Completing and Solving

Your total health points (HP) matter a lot in Vampire Crawlers because, unless you have a Revive item ready, you’ll lose your game when your health reaches zero. This is just how the game works—nothing unusual about that. However, the game doesn’t explain all the ways you can heal your character.

At first, the only healing method you learn about is the chicken, which will become your best friend early on. But as you play, you’ll discover several other ways to recover health—some are more effective than others. This guide covers all the healing options available in Vampire Crawlers and explains how to find each one.

    ### How To Heal

We’ve identified four main ways to heal your character.

    #### Find Chicken

The first and most common way is by finding chickens. Unfortunately, finding chickens is random. You’ll need to break all light sources and breakable objects in each dungeon, because chickens might appear unexpectedly. You can also find stands with chickens on them, but to get a chicken from these stands, you’ll need to sacrifice a card.

    #### Increase Your Recovery Stat

Once you unlock the Power Up building in your village, you can upgrade the Recovery stat. Improving this stat will automatically heal you for a certain amount of health after each encounter during a run. Additionally, there are cards and a Gem that boost healing: the cards are Pummarola, which heals 2 HP, and Pummadora, which heals 4 HP. The Gem, called Restore Health, also increases healing.

    #### Use Clerici

Clerici is a character you unlock later in the game. She might not be very strong on her own, but if you have unlocked a couple of Crawler Slots, she becomes an effective support character. Her special card heals you for 3 HP each time you use it, making her a valuable ally for healing.

    #### Use Celestial Dusting

Lastly, there are two more cards worth knowing about. One is Celestial Dusting, which is the starting attack card for O’Sole. When you use Celestial Dusting to defeat enemies, you have a chance to earn Little Heart cards. These are Wild Cards that, when used, heal at least 1 HP. Using this card not only deals damage but also provides opportunities for healing through these wild cards.

  • How to Fix and Complete Your Ship in Windrose

How to Fix and Complete Your Ship in Windrose

When you start playing Windrose, things might feel tough at first. Without a good ship, you’re stuck on the starting islands with very limited resources. Luckily, there’s a way to get a better ship so you can head back into the open sea and begin your adventure of plundering.

Here’s how to get your first ship, upgrade it, and grow your fleet of powerful vessels to challenge Blackbeard and his crew. There’s a lot to do if you want to unlock your full potential, so dive in now.

How to Get a Larger Boat

After your ship is destroyed, you’re left with a tiny, slow dinghy to get around. As you play through the main story and reunite with the doctor, you’ll discover that there are several shipwrecks nearby worth exploring.

One of these shipwrecks is still usable if you can find it. You’ll need the ship if you plan to sail to Tortuga and earn your reputation as a pirate.

    Where to Find a Ship

Check your map for markers that show shipwreck locations. If you’re not using quest markers, look along the shores of smaller nearby islands. These locations should have ships resting nearby. Usually, they’re close together, but if you see one broken in half, it’s not worth pursuing. You’re looking for a mostly intact Ketch — there’s just one of its kind.

When you find the ship, you’ll need the following materials to repair it:

    • 100 Wood
    • 10 Ropes
    • 20 Coarse Fabric
    • 20 Nails

Make sure these materials are in your inventory, not just in storage at your camp.

Once the ship is fixed, the next step is to gather a crew for it.

    How to Find a Crew

You’ll see several pirates trapped in cages around the starting islands, guarded by Blackbeard’s men. To set sail, you need to free them.

Each camp has about two pirates, so you’ll need to raid three camps plus free the first pirate you encounter in the main story. After freeing all seven pirates, return to your repaired ship and assemble your crew.

    How to Use Your Ship

After gathering the crew, your ship is ready to set sail. You can leave right away, but it’s best to wait a moment. By default, your ship doesn’t have extra defenses or cannons installed.

    How to Upgrade Your Ship

To strengthen your vessel, build a shipwright’s workshop to craft cannons and boarding gear. Then, construct a wharf to install these upgrades. Once done, your ship will be ready for real pirate adventures.

From the shipwright’s workshop, you can manage and build new ships, ensuring they’re in good shape before heading into battle. You can also summon your ships anywhere nearby with the appropriate key (on PC, it’s the K key).

    How to Sail Your Ship

Onboard, head to the helm and use the wheel to steer or manage your cargo. Your cargo holds extra materials you can transport, so use it to carry supplies between camps or take on Blackbeard’s forces.

Initially, your options for ships are limited. As you improve your skills and build good relationships with different factions, more blueprints will unlock, allowing you to build bigger and stronger ships to defeat Blackbeard.

To sail, use the standard movement controls. Remember, sailing faster means less control. You can use your camera and right mouse button to aim your shots while on the sea, and the left mouse button to fire cannons.

    Docking and Leaving the Ship

There’s no formal docking system. To disembark, press the same button used to take the helm and step away. You can then jump into the water and swim to shore. Just make sure you stay close enough so you don’t run out of stamina and drown before reaching land.

  • How to Fix a Dead Battery in Your Winter Car While Completing the Journey

How to Fix a Dead Battery in Your Winter Car While Completing the Journey

Learning to drive is essential in My Winter Car. The game features realistic controls and details to help you understand how to operate your vehicle. However, maintaining your car also matters if you want it to last longer.

If you leave the lights on after turning off your car or if the weather is too cold, you might find that your Sorbett won’t start. These common problems can be tricky, but this guide will help you address dead batteries and other technical issues in My Winter Car.

Note: The game is in Early Access, so some details may change in the future.

How to Fix a Car That Won’t Start

Here’s a list of common problems that prevent your car from starting and how to fix them:

    Issue Explanation Solution
The fuel tank is empty Your Sorbett won’t start if there’s no fuel. You can tell if it’s empty by checking the fuel gauge on the dashboard. Find a gasoline can at your parents’ house inside the garage. Fill the can with fuel, then add it to your car.
The car’s temperature is too low Cold weather affects your car and can prevent the engine from starting. Use the temperature system to keep your vehicle warm while driving. When parked at home, connect the car to the heat blocker (the device it’s plugged into initially). You can also leave the engine running when parked elsewhere to keep it warm, but don’t do it for too long to avoid wasting fuel.
The battery is dead Cold weather and excessive use (like leaving lights or wipers on) can drain the vehicle’s battery. To prevent this, turn off unnecessary electrical devices when parked or check the weather forecast before going out—if it’s extremely cold, consider not driving. If the battery is already dead, you can try reloading a recent save to restore it. Alternatively, wait a few minutes for the battery to charge slowly. To do this, hold the throttle at its limit while in neutral with the choke pulled out for a bit—you might successfully start the engine.
A vehicle component is broken (e.g., oil light is on) If your car doesn’t start and other solutions don’t work, it might be a broken part. Check the indicator lights on the dashboard for clues. Based on the warning, you may need to buy and install the necessary part or take your car to Fleetari’s repair shop in Loppe. You can also attach other vehicles to tow them if needed; just crouch in front of the vehicle and select the towing option.

    Additional Tips

    • The Sorbett, your starting vehicle, is used as a reference for troubleshooting common issues, but other vehicles in the game work similarly, each with their own quirks.

    Recovery Mode Options

Once inside Recovery Mode, you’ll see various options, which may differ slightly depending on your device, but generally include:

    • Reboot system now: Restarts the device normally.
    • Apply update from ADB: Allows you to connect your device to a computer using Android Debug Bridge for advanced updates. This method requires installing the Android SDK and is mainly for developers.
    • Wipe data/factory reset: Erases all personal data, returning your device to factory settings. Be aware that this process is irreversible and won’t resolve hardware issues.
    • Wipe cache partition: Clears temporary files stored by the system, which can fix many bugs without deleting personal data. Note that recent Android versions have streamlined this process, and in newer devices, the cache can often be cleared from the settings menu directly.

Important Reminder: Factory Reset Protection (FRP)

Most modern Android devices come with Factory Reset Protection enabled. This security feature means that after a reset, you’ll need to log in with your Google account credentials—preventing theft but sometimes causing frustration if you’re not prepared.

Before performing a reset, remove your Google account from your device via “Settings” > “Accounts” to avoid FRP locking your device afterward. If you forget, you’ll have to verify your account credentials to regain access.

By understanding these steps and options, you can confidently troubleshoot your Android device through Recovery Mode, whether it’s for updating, resetting, or resolving persistent issues.

  • How to repair the electrical substation on Spaceport in Arc Raiders

How to repair the electrical substation on Spaceport in Arc Raiders

Power is a vital resource for Speranza in Arc Raiders because, as a fully underground city, they rely heavily on electricity to keep everything running—lights, medical equipment, and generators. They mainly get their power by maintaining electrical stations on the surface, as their infrastructure and machinery are still operational above ground.

These electrical stations are at risk due to dangers from above, including electromagnetic storms and the deadly ARC machines that originally destroyed humanity. When a worker is injured or an electrical station needs repair, it’s up to a Raider like you to step in and fix the problem.

How to Find Evidence of the Worker
Power Out is another quest in the game, unlocked after completing the previous quest, Prescriptions Of The Past. This mission takes you to the Spaceport, where you need to visit the Electrical Substation located on the southeastern edge of the map.

Enter the main part of the station, which is made of concrete walls. Look across from the power box near the fence for a container. Interact with this container to update your second quest objective.

Image: Map of southeastern Spaceport with an orange star marking the Electrical Substation location.

During the quest, you’ll need to head to the Southeastern Spaceport’s electrical substation. Once there, find the main section of the station, and on the side, locate a container. Opening this container will cause a large fuse brick to drop. Pick up the fuse and bring it to the highlighted, open section of the power box. Insert the fuse, flip the switch, and restore power. After turning the power back on, you are free to extract.

When you return to Speranza, talk to Celeste at her shop to complete the mission.

Image: Raider standing by a container with a yellow prompt at the Spaceport Electrical Substation.

Note that the electrical substation, although not a designated loot spot, can contain some useful loot like wires, batteries, and electrical components inside containers.

As a reward for this straightforward task, you’ll gain experience points, the Bag Variant for the Radio Renegade Outfit, and additional supplies including five Wires, five Explosive Compounds, and five Oil. Completing this quest also unlocks the next mission, Flickering Threat.

  • How to Fix the Celeste Generator Using Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

How to Fix the Celeste Generator Using Completing and Solving in Arc Raiders

After the Power Up event in Arc Raiders, Celeste is trying to restore the power in Speranza. Since the city is underground, most of its infrastructure, technology, and systems depend on electrical and solar power.

If the power isn’t working properly, the residents will eventually lose light and energy. Their greenhouses and food supplies could die or get damaged, and medical technology needed to save injured people will become useless. Celeste needs a Raider to go to the Dam Battlegrounds and help repair what’s broken.

How to Find and Fix the Generator

This part of Celeste’s mission happens in Dam Battlegrounds, unlocked after completing her previous quest, Power Out.

Start at the Power Generation Complex on the northern edge of the map. Enter through the left side of the building if possible. If you go in from the right, you’ll still find the Generators — you’ll just need to walk across the entire building first.

Tip: Watch out for Ticks. They often appear in the Generator room, hanging from beams and walls. You’ll hear them make a mechanical chirping sound, or you can check high-up spots to avoid surprises.

The Generator room is on one of the lower floors on the left side of the building. It’s close to the entrance, large in size, and has bright teal flooring. Look for the generator with yellow wires in front. To repair it, you’ll need four wires, which you can bring from your stash or find inside the Power Generation Complex.

Since the area is filled with electrical and tech loot, wires are easy to find either on their own or by recycling materials like Power Cables. Even if the area has been looted, you’ll likely find some wires in containers because they are not highly sought-after.

Bring the wires to the broken generator, interact to repair it, and complete the first objective. Next, locate the Ventilation Shaft and the Power Switch inside it.

How to Find the Ventilation Shaft and Turn on the Power

The Ventilation Shaft is near the center of the Power Generation Complex. You can reach it in a couple of ways:

    • Exit the Generator Room through the right door, walk down the hall, and take the first door heading north.
    • If you came outside, drop onto the staircase inside the building from its top, near the North Complex Elevator. Be ready for some fall damage, which can be easily healed with a Bandage or edible items like Moss or Agave.

Before entering, make sure no Sentinel is lurking inside the shaft. Then, go to the power boxes just below the first set of stairs. Interact with the yellow-orange box in the corner to turn the power back on. With this done, all four objectives are complete.

Return to Speranza and talk with Celeste at her shop to turn in the quest. You will receive experience points, a Helmet variant for the Radio Renegade Outfit, five Medium Gun Parts, and three Advanced Electrical Components.

  • How to Repair Solar Panels in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

How to Repair Solar Panels in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

With nearly all above-ground structures destroyed in Arc Raiders, humanity has moved underground to a massive city called Speranza. They do their best to keep things running using materials collected by Raiders.

Powering an entire underground city is a big challenge. Besides generators, Speranza depends heavily on solar power since there’s plenty of sunlight. Solar energy is a simple, safe, and effective way to generate electricity. While ARC might overlook solar panels, nature can cause problems for them now and then.

How to Repair the Solar Panels

In the game, after completing Shani’s quest, Eyes In The Sky, a new quest called After Rain Comes unlocks in the Buried City. Celeste asks you to repair flooded solar panels, which is one of the few quests that requires you to find or bring specific items.

Pro tip: If you can do Tian Wen’s quest, Eyes On The Prize, at the same time, you should. Both tasks need Wires to repair or modify things, so bringing enough Wires for both saves trouble.

The solar panels are located between the Grandioso Apartments and the Old Town Hatch in the western part of the Buried City. They sit in a large puddle of water.

To fix the panels, you need five Wires and two Batteries. It’s best to gather these items beforehand from your stash because Wires and Batteries are rare, mainly appearing as loot from the Commercial, Medical, and Old World categories.

You’re more likely to find Wires and Batteries in Dam Battlegrounds or the Spaceport. These areas tend to have lots of tech and electrical supplies, especially at Dam Battlegrounds.

    How to Gather the Materials

If you forget to bring Wires and Batteries, look near the center of the map at Research and Space Travel buildings. The Parking Garage also often has some in the wrecked vehicles.

You can also salvage items like Power Cables, Damaged Heat Sinks, and Industrial Batteries, which can be broken down into Wires and Batteries.

Bring these items to the solar panels near Grandioso Apartments. When close, interact with the yellow power box nearby to start the repair, which will show you the needed materials.

After the repair, you’ll complete the main objective of the quest. You can choose to exit the area and return to Speranza or explore more, such as the Space Travel building, to gather extra loot.

Once back in Speranza, talk to Celeste in the Traders tab to finish the quest. You’ll earn experience points, five Blue Raider Flares, three Antiseptics (used to craft Sterilized Bandages and Vita Spray), and five Durable Cloth (used for Herbal Bandages).

  • How to Find and Use Oil for Engine Repair in Your RV: Solving the Issue

How to Find and Use Oil for Engine Repair in Your RV: Solving the Issue

A functional RV is essential for safely transporting you and your team to the next destination in the physics-based survival game RV There Yet?. Nothing stops your trip faster than a broken or damaged engine.

Whether you’ve slipped on rocky ground or been nearby a bear attack, your RV can only handle so much before the engine takes the hit. To keep your adventure going, you’ll need to learn how to fix your engine and recognize when repairs are required.

    How to Find Oil

A bottle of Motor Oil can be found at the campsite when you start the game. You can also find motor oil at checkpoints and points of interest, but there’s no guarantee. You’ll need to decide when to use the oil you have or if it’s better to push a little further before stopping for repairs.

Make sure your RV has enough space to store the motor oil because it’s the only way to fix a damaged engine. Keep it secured inside cupboards so it doesn’t roll around when you’re driving.

Note: If your engine becomes completely broken, unfortunately, it’s game over for you and your crew, and you’ll have to start over.

    How to Repair Your Engine

You’ll know when your engine needs fixing by looking at the damage bar at the top of the screen. If it turns red, your engine has taken a beating. When possible, grab some motor oil to help repair it.

The engine is hidden beneath the bed at the back of the RV. Approaching the bed allows you to open it and see the engine underneath. With motor oil in hand, follow the prompt (on PC, use the left mouse button) to repair the engine. Once fixed, your RV is ready for the next part of your journey.

  • How To Fix an Unresponsive iPhone Touchscreen

How To Fix an Unresponsive iPhone Touchscreen

Certainly! Here’s a human-written, unique, and plagiarism-free version of the content in American English, with all mentions of specific videos and editor recommendations removed:

Never want your new iPhone 17 to start acting up with hardware or software problems. One common issue is an unresponsive touchscreen, and unfortunately, all the top iPhones can experience this. But don’t rush to the Apple Store just yet. Follow this step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem quickly.

Sometimes, your iPhone simply needs a gentle reset or a restart. But if the issue is more serious, this guide aims to help you avoid a store visit altogether.

How to Fix an Unresponsive iPhone Touchscreen

To begin, try the simplest solutions first. Restarting your iPhone can often fix minor glitches, and it’s worth trying before delving into more complex approaches. If the problem persists, there are several troubleshooting steps to help restore responsiveness.

    Restart Your iPhone

Just like rebooting a computer, restarting your iPhone can often clear out glitches. The steps are quite similar whether you’re using the latest iPhone 17, an iPhone SE (2022), or even an older model like the iPhone 5s—though the button placement may vary.

    Steps to restart:

    1. Press and hold the side button along with either of the volume buttons until the “Slide to Power Off” slider appears. (Older models with a top button will use the top button instead of the side button.)

    2. Drag the slider from left to right to turn off your device.

    3. Wait at least 30 seconds for it to completely power down.

    4. Press and hold the same button again until the Apple logo appears, signaling it’s booting up.

    5. Once it starts, unlock your device by swiping up or pressing the home button, then enter your passcode.

    Force Restart Your iPhone

If your touchscreen is unresponsive and you can’t perform the normal restart, a forced restart is your next option. This is akin to rebooting your device without powering it off in the traditional sense.

For iPhone 8, SE (2020), or iPhone with Face ID:

    1. Quickly press and release the volume up button.

    2. Quickly press and release the volume down button.

    3. Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears, then release.

    For iPhone 7:

    1. Hold both the volume down button and the side (or top) button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.

    2. Release both buttons and wait for the device to boot up.

    For iPhone 6s or earlier:

    1. Hold down both the home button and the side (or top) button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.

    2. Release both buttons and wait for the device to restart.

Restarting your iPhone often resolves touchscreen issues, so try this first.

Check Your Screen Protector and Clean the Screen

Sometimes, screen protectors or debris can interfere with touchscreen responsiveness. Carefully examine your screen to ensure the protector is applied properly. If it’s misaligned or damaged, consider removing and reapplying it, or trying a new, high-quality protector.

Even if the protector looks fine, removing it temporarily to see if responsiveness improves can help diagnose the issue. Dirt, dust, and moisture trapped between the screen and protector can also cause problems. Clean your screen with a dry microfiber cloth until it’s spotless. If the touchscreen works afterward, you might opt for a different screen protector.

    Disconnect Wired Accessories

Occasionally, wired accessories like headphones or chargers can cause touchscreen disruptions. Disconnect any cables or external devices connected to your iPhone. After removing these accessories, restart your phone to see if the touchscreen becomes responsive again.

While this issue is more common with older Lightning accessories, it can affect newer models with USB-C ports too. If disconnecting accessories resolves the issue, try replacing or testing different ones. However, if your touchscreen problems persist when any accessory is connected, there may be a deeper hardware or software problem requiring further troubleshooting.

    Update Your iPhone Software

If your touchscreen remains unresponsive after trying the above methods, updating your device to the latest iOS version might help. If you can access the Settings app, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and follow the prompts.

If the touchscreen is entirely non-responsive, connect your iPhone to a computer with iTunes (Windows or macOS Mojave and earlier) or Finder (macOS Catalina and later). Once connected:

    1. Open iTunes or Finder and locate your device.

    2. If your device is recognized, choose the Update option to install the latest iOS version.

    3. If prompted to “Trust this computer,” tap Trust on your iPhone if possible; if not, follow the next steps.

    Use Recovery Mode

In cases where the touchscreen is completely unresponsive and your device doesn’t trust the computer, you’ll need to put your iPhone into recovery mode:

    1. Connect your iPhone to your computer.

    2. Launch iTunes or Finder.

    3. Perform a forced restart for your specific model but don’t release the buttons when the Apple logo appears. Instead, keep holding until the recovery mode screen appears.

    4. A prompt will appear on your computer indicating an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected.

    5. Choose Update to reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

This process can fix software issues that cause unresponsiveness without deleting your personal data.

    Free Up Storage Space

Over time, your iPhone accumulates apps, photos, videos, and other media, consuming storage space. When storage becomes nearly full, certain functions—including the touchscreen—may start to misbehave.

If you see alerts about low storage or notice sluggish performance, try deleting unused apps, removing unnecessary photos, or backing up files to iCloud and deleting them from the device. Frees up memory can restore smooth operation.

Allow Your iPhone to Cool Down

Heavy use of resource-intensive apps or working in hot environments can cause your device to overheat, affecting performance—including touch responsiveness. If your iPhone feels hot or behaves sluggish, turn it off for 15-30 minutes to cool down.

If you’re in a rush, enabling Airplane Mode or Low Power Mode can reduce the device’s workload temporarily, helping to alleviate overheating and improve responsiveness once powered back up.

    Update Your Apps

Sometimes, touchscreen issues appear only when specific apps are in use. Ensure all your apps are up to date, as developers regularly release patches for bugs. Check the App Store for updates or delete and reinstall the problematic app. If issues persist with a particular app, contact the developer to report the problem.

    Factory Reset Your iPhone

As a last resort, if all else fails, restoring your iPhone to factory settings can resolve persistent software problems. Keep in mind, this erases everything on your device—so ensure you have a recent backup using iCloud or your computer.

    To reset:

    1. Follow the steps to update your iPhone, but select Restore instead of Update when prompted.

    2. After the reset, set up your iPhone as new, and test whether the touchscreen responds properly.

    3. If it does, you can restore your backup. If not, hardware issues may be to blame.

    Contact Apple Support

If none of these solutions restore touchscreen functionality, it’s advisable to contact Apple support or visit an authorized service provider. Factory resets and software updates are helpful, but hardware issues—like a damaged screen or internal component failure—require professional diagnosis and repair. Apple technicians can determine if your device needs a replacement or repair, often without risking your data.

Troubleshooting touchscreen problems can be straightforward with these steps. Start with basic restarts and cleaning, then proceed to software updates and recovery options. If all else fails, professional help from Apple is the safest course.

  • How to Restore Power in Dying Light: The Beast by Completing the Puzzle

How to Restore Power in Dying Light: The Beast by Completing the Puzzle

Dying Light: The Beast offers many side activities that help you gain experience points quickly. The game guides you through these activities via missions, one of which is called The Cable Guy. During this side quest, you’ll learn how to unlock and power one of the many substations scattered across Castor Woods.

Because this mission involves several steps, it can be easy to get confused about how to restore the power. Completing The Cable Guy mission, however, provides rewards that can greatly improve your chances of survival.

How To Start The Cable Guy Mission

You won’t be able to begin this quest until you turn on the power during the Power Gambit main story mission. After restoring the power and fighting off the Baron’s men, Pietro will contact you via walkie-talkie, asking you to turn on a substation.

To continue, accept this side mission, which requires you to head west of the Town Hall in the Old Town. When you arrive at the location, you’ll find the substation inside a fenced area, surrounded by zombies, near a road.

    Substation Map

    How To Restore The Power

Your task is to connect a cable to a wall outlet in the area to activate the substation. While this sounds simple, the large group of zombies nearby makes it challenging. Before attempting to power the substation, clear out the zombies first.

Note: There may be one or two zombies with ranged acid attacks guarding the substation. Deal with these before taking on the main horde, as their acid attacks can cause significant health damage.

    Substation Under Light Post

Once the area is clear, climb the light post with its back facing the forested area. From the top, turn right and jump onto the adjacent platform.

    Lamp Post Platform

Interact with the cable on the platform to take it. Remember, you’ll have a limited length of cable, which you can see at the bottom right of your screen. After grabbing the cable, jump down and head to the small structure at the center of the area. Climb onto its roof to find a latch door that you’ll need to lockpick.

    Latch Door

Tip: The tasks in this mission can be completed in any order. You can open the latch door before getting the cable, as long as you have lockpicks.

Drop into the shack and you’ll see the connection point in front of the door. Turn to your right to interact with a machine on the wall to power the generator. Be sure to loot the shack before leaving.

How To Complete The Cable Guy

Finally, return to the Town Hall once the substation is functioning. Enter the same hallway where you first met Jacob, then proceed down the hall, turn right, and you’ll find Pietro beyond the door.

    Meeting Pietro

After restoring power, head back to the Town Hall. From there, go to the hall where you met Jacob, and go all the way down, turning right at the corridor. Pietro will be just beyond that door.

Interact with him to complete the mission, which awards you with the Remote Trap Controller—an important tool for triggering traps like car bombs throughout Castor Woods. This device becomes especially useful on higher difficulties of the game.

  • How to Complete Repairing Railroad Tracks in Lego Voyagers

How to Complete Repairing Railroad Tracks in Lego Voyagers

Most of the puzzles in Lego Voyagers are quick and simple, designed to keep the story moving fast. However, the train track puzzle is much bigger and takes a whole chapter to complete. Some chapters may only last a minute or so, but once you reach Chapter 29 and see the scene in front of you, you’ll realize this puzzle will require some effort.

In this part, the red brick and blue brick each have specific jobs. You need to work together to steer a vehicle and gather the materials needed to rebuild the train tracks so you can keep your train ride going.

Where to Find Pink Bricks to Repair the Train Tracks

At the start of Chapter 29, you’ll come to some train tracks that are broken and missing pieces.

Your task is to gather bricks from the drop sites and take them to the top left section of the map by opening doors and clearing the way for your vehicle. To your immediate left, there’s a two-brick truck you can use as you look for materials to fix the tracks.

Use the white lever on the left to move the vehicle forward and backward. The back white brick controls the direction of the wheels.

Follow the road to the right, then down the path until you reach the first drop of materials.

Next, park the vehicle under the blue conveyor belt. The blue brick needs to connect with the lever to activate it and cause a group of bricks to drop into the truck.

Collect the pink bricks that fall, then move further east.

Continue heading east and park your vehicle in a corner below another conveyor belt. Use the lever with the blue brick to grab more pink bricks, then keep moving forward.

Head north through an open gate, passing through another fence by having one brick hold the lever in place.

You’ll see a small path blocked with two railings. To cross, align the vehicle so one brick opens the path with the lever. The driver then moves straight over the barrier before rejoining the brick holding the lever.

Proceed along the path to the southeast and park your vehicle just below another conveyor belt. Activate the lever with the blue brick to gather more pink bricks, then continue.

Move north through the open gate and pass through the fence by using the lever held by a brick.

You’ll find an exit door to the left that can be opened by connecting to the console nearby.

Keep moving east along the path and return up under the final drop zone to the northeast, following the red arrow.

Once there, take the pink bricks to the very top left where you will see a smelting machine.

How to Turn the Pink Bricks Into Train Tracks

Take the pink bricks upward to the smelting machine located at the top left of the area.

Use the collected bricks to repair the missing pieces of the train tracks at the beginning of the section.

Bring the bricks back to the starting point and assemble the new segments to complete the track.

After the tracks are fixed, climb onto the boxes southeast of the train and attach them to the yellow slots on the top to finish Chapter 29.

How to Repair the Train Tracks

Once you have the supplies, bring the train tracks back to the missing pieces at the start and repair them. Collect the supplies from the boxes and connect the pieces to rebuild the tracks. When finished, go to the top of the boxes to the southeast of the train and attach them to the yellow slots to conclude the chapter.

  • Creating a Repair and Salvage Station in Abiotic Factor: Completing and Solving

Creating a Repair and Salvage Station in Abiotic Factor: Completing and Solving

In Abiotic Factor, you won’t usually be working with fancy tools because most equipment is broken or locked away. Instead, you’ll need to craft makeshift weapons from office supplies and scrap metal. For example, turning a floor lamp into a spear or shaping metal pipes into a club for self-defense. These improvised weapons aren’t durable, so it’s important to keep them repaired. To do that, you’ll need an Anvil.

    ### How to Find an Anvil
Anvils are essential because they let you build the Repair & Salvage Station, a handy crafting station that repairs gear or breaks down resources into basic parts, like converting Rotten Meat into Bio Scraps. The first place to find an Anvil is in the Supply Room behind the Cafeteria, where you meet Dr. Thule. Enter the Storage Room marked by Dr. Thule and crawl through the vent leading to the room with the Carbuncle.

Instead of heading straight to the Carbuncle, go through the vent directly ahead. You’ll reach a spinning fan—wait until it’s past 9 PM so the power turns off, stopping the fan. Crouch underneath and slip past it to the other side. Inside, go into the next room through the green door to get a shortcut back to the Cafeteria. Inside, you’ll find many resources such as Paper Scraps, Tomato Seeds, and a Flashlight, along with some Filing Cabinets to loot. An Anvil is stored on the bottom shelf near the wall adjacent to the Maintenance Room door. Grab it and take it back to your base.

You can also find additional Anvils in the Storage Room next to Silo Three and in the room where Dr. Alice Mayfield is located. Several more are scattered throughout Manufacturing West, like in the Shipping Logistics area.

    ### What You Can Craft With Anvils
The Anvil is mainly used to craft the Repair & Salvage Station and later, the Symphonist Scarecrow, which helps defend your base against Symphonists in Flathill. To build the Repair & Salvage Station, you’ll need four materials, including the Anvil. Most of these materials are fairly easy to gather:

    | Material | How to Obtain |
    |————————|———————————————————————————————-|
    | Anvil x1 | Found in the locations mentioned above |
    | Coil x1 | Break down computer monitors or get them from Security Bots after defeating them |
    | Duct Tape x6 | Found in Filing Cabinets, Cupboards, Toolboxes, or when breaking wooden crates |
    | Metal Pipe x2 | Dismantle metal pipes in office areas like the Executive Bathroom or from crates |

The second purpose for the Anvil is to craft the Symphonist Scarecrow, which provides protection against Symphonists later in the game. To make this item, you’ll need:

    | Material | How to Obtain |
    |————————-|——————————————————————————————————|
    | Symphonist Head x1 | Kill and butcher a Symphonist with a sharp tool like a Kitchen Knife |
    | Anvil x1 | Located in specific rooms such as the Storage Room near Silo Three |
    | Energy Brick x1 | Craft at a bench using a Power Supply Unit, Circuit Board, Tech Scrap, and a Case Fan |
    | Security Bot CPU x1 | Defeat and butcher a Security Bot using a sharp weapon |

  • Completing Repairs on Your Sandbike with a Welding Torch in Dune: Awakening

Vehicles are crucial in Dune: Awakening, especially after you settle into the game. Certain locations are nearly impossible to reach without them, and they significantly reduce travel time, which helps conserve your survival resources.

However, frequent use will lead to wear and tear. Eventually, your vehicle may deteriorate into a non-functional heap. Instead of constructing a new one from scratch, you can extend its lifespan with some repairs.

    How to Repair Your Sandbike

You can repair your sandbike using the same tool you used to build it, but you’ll need more than just that. A Welding Tool is essential, along with Welding Wire, which costs five Scavenged Metal for a spool.

You can also produce Welding Wire in the Fabricator, and it’s researched alongside the Welding Tool, so no additional research is necessary.

How to Tell If Your Sandbike Needs Repairs

While riding your sandbike, you’ll see an outline of it on the side of your screen. The color of this outline indicates its condition; darker colors signal worse condition.

However, this method isn’t the most accurate for assessing damage. There’s a far better way to identify what needs repairs.

When you’re on or near your sandbike, hold the F key and select Manage Vehicle. This will display a screen with detailed information, showing the exact condition of every component of your sandbike.

How to Repair with the Welding Tool

To fix the damaged parts, you’ll need to switch the Welding Tool to its Repair function, which typically involves right-clicking while holding the tool until it activates Repair mode.

Once in Repair mode, aim carefully at the part that needs attention. It can be tricky, so if you struggle to repair a component, try adjusting your angle for a better view.

Keep in mind that repairing your sandbike will reduce its maximum durability slightly. For instance, if you repair a part with 100 max durability and 32 current health, it may only retain around 90 max durability after the repair.

Eventually, you’ll need to replace older parts with new ones, but you can make good use of the old components before that becomes necessary.

  • Completing the Orrery Repair and Activation in Oblivion Remastered

Completing the Orrery Repair and Activation in Oblivion Remastered

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered revitalizes the iconic RPG with upgraded graphics and refined gameplay, providing a smoother adventure as you traverse well-known areas, engage with cherished characters, and enjoy all the included DLC content.

A standout among the DLC quests is Repairing the Orrery. This quest is unique because upon completion, it grants access to an operational orrery. Depending on the current moon phase, using it offers temporary boosts to your character’s stats, making it a useful asset worth pursuing.

How to Begin the Repairing the Orrery Quest

After arriving in the Imperial City, head to the Arcane University, which is situated southeast of the city.

Inside, you’ll find a woman named Bothiel. She will provide you with a note detailing the items needed to repair the Orrery.

Your first location will be Camp Ales, found at the far west of the map. Once there, you’ll encounter a few bandits.

Take care of them and loot their remains. One of the bandits should have an item known as an undelivered letter.

The letter states that four artifacts are secured in safe locations across four camps.

How to Collect All Artifacts for the Orrery

At each camp, you’ll find a specific bandit known as Bandit Carrier who will possess one of the artifacts you need to collect. The artifacts are:

    • Brotch Camp – Dwarven Cog
    • Dagny’s Camp – Dwarven Coherer
    • Bodean Camp – Dwarven Cylinder
    • Varus Camp – Dwarven Tube

Once you have all four items, return to the Arcane University and speak with Bothiel again.

Present her with all the items, and she will express her gratitude and reward you with gold, but there’s more to it.

How to Finish the Repairing the Orrery Quest

Give Bothiel a day to repair the Orrery with the items you collected, so don’t hesitate to skip ahead 24 hours. After that, go inside and head to the door in the center to access the Orrery.

Once inside, navigate to the upper floor and interact with the console to activate the Orrery.

    How Does the Orrery Function?

The Orrery can bestow special powers depending on the active moon phase. These phases change every three days, and you can check them by observing the console.

Keep in mind that you can only receive one power at a time, and to switch powers, you’ll need to wait for the specific moon phase.

  • Zelda Notes Offer Hidden Benefit: Item Durability Repair

Zelda Notes Offer Hidden Benefit: Item Durability Repair

The Nintendo Switch 2 will feature updated editions of both Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, alongside a new application called Zelda Notes. This app has generated significant buzz as it brings a plethora of features including navigation assistance, auto-build sharing, and the intriguing ability to repair in-game weapons.

Nintendo has been somewhat vague regarding this specific functionality, only noting on its Zelda Notes features page that players can “Test your luck once per day in Zelda Notes. Get hearts, meals, or other effects based on the result.” Popular Zelda content creator Zeltik has shared insights about the app, particularly highlighting potential bonuses players can unlock, including the “Equipment Repairs” feature.

In Tears of the Kingdom, players have a few methods for mending damaged items; however, these don’t always yield success. The new mechanic offered by Zelda Notes is an additional way to maintain your treasured weapons, though it’s based on a daily random chance, available only once every 24 hours. This feature is unlikely to disrupt the game’s balance, serving instead as an enjoyable perk for gamers.

The updated versions of these games are set to release on June 5, coinciding with the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2. Players who currently own the games can upgrade to the new versions for $10 each. Those subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will have access to both upgrades at no additional cost.

Besides enhanced performance, the new releases will incorporate a system of achievements through Zelda Notes. Players will be able to keep track of various accomplishments, such as the number of shrines completed or locations explored, allowing for comparison against friends and on global leaderboards. If you’ve been considering diving back into this adventure, summer may offer the perfect opportunity to save Hyrule once again.

  • Buying and Repairing Shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Buying and Repairing Shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Choosing the right attire in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is crucial. Not only will the right armor enhance your combat survival, and noble clothing help you breeze through skill checks, but footwear also plays a significant role in your overall outfit. Certain types of shoes can help you move stealthily when exploring restricted areas.

While it’s clear where to find armor from blacksmiths and weapons from weapon makers, locating a good pair of shoes may not be as straightforward. It’s also a good idea to keep your shoes in good condition to ensure Henry’s comfort while on his adventures.

    How to Acquire Shoes

Your best bet for finding shoes is to visit a Cobbler. These shops are marked by a red icon resembling a spike on the map and are typically located in larger towns and villages.

You’ll find several cobblers in Kuttenberg city, and there is also one at Trosky Castle in the Trosky region. Go there and talk to Cobbler Matthew to purchase some shoes. Fortunately, they are quite affordable, costing no more than 25 Groschen if you negotiate the price.

Once you’ve bought your shoes, don’t forget to equip them in your inventory as part of your desired outfit.

When you approach Matthew, you’ll notice he is referred to as Saddler Matthew, despite being labeled a Cobbler on the map. Thankfully, he offers both footwear and horse gear.

If you’re looking for an alternative way to get shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you can simply loot shoes from the bodies of NPCs. Whether it’s a guard, bandit, or an unfortunate villager, you can take and wear their shoes. Just be cautious not to get caught or you might attract unwanted attention from the law.

    How to Fix Shoes

Over time, your shoes will require repairs. While buying new ones is always an option, you can also return to any Cobbler to have them repaired.

When you speak with the Cobbler, select the Repair option and choose the shoes you wish to fix. After paying the fee, you can leave knowing your footwear is as good as new.

Remember to haggle over the repair costs, just like you would when purchasing items in the game.

  • NASA Astronauts Repair X-Ray Telescope Outside ISS

NASA Astronauts Repair X-Ray Telescope Outside ISS

This morning, on Thursday, January 16, at 8:01 a.m. ET, two NASA astronauts ventured outside the International Space Station (ISS) for a spacewalk. Their mission, expected to take about six and a half hours, involves repairing the NICER (Neutron star Interior Composition Explorer) X-ray telescope mounted on the station’s exterior.

Nick Hague and Suni Williams are undertaking NASA’s first spacewalk in over six months. Spacewalk activities were paused following a spacesuit leak in June 2024. Fortunately, both astronauts are encountering no suit issues, enabling them to focus on their task of applying special patches to the damaged areas of the telescope’s light filter. These patches will reduce excessive light interference, ensuring more accurate readings from the observatory.

NASA representatives expressed gratitude on social media for Hague and Williams’ efforts in repairing the NICER telescope, an instrument designed to study dense celestial objects known as neutron stars through X-ray observations. NICER has previously created a remarkable map highlighting X-ray sources as observed from the ISS.

Post-repair, NICER will undergo some adjustments and calibrations to ensure it can resume its scientific observations shortly.

The next steps for the NICER team include unstowing the telescope and restarting daytime observations to examine the data with the patches installed. Stay tuned for updates. pic.twitter.com/JhFgskAmlj

    — NASA Universe (@NASAUniverse) January 16, 2025

While conducting their spacewalk, Hague and Williams will also tackle additional tasks, such as removing and replacing a component known as a rate gyro assembly. This assembly is vital for maintaining the station’s orientation as it travels roughly 250 miles above Earth. Other maintenance duties include changing a reflector device on one of the docking adapters, which assists in navigation by indicating the position of the docking area. They will also inspect a section set for future maintenance work.

This upcoming maintenance will involve a future spacewalk to work on the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, an instrument designed to explore dark matter that was classified as “unfixable” in 2011. However, astronauts succeeded in repairs in 2023, which included special tools designed to modify its cooling system, extending its operational life despite it originally being intended for only three years of use without astronaut maintenance.
