How to Complete the Scholar Remembrance Quest in Elden Ring: Nightreign

Every character you can play in Elden Ring: Nightreign has their own unique skills, moves, relics, and a dedicated side quest called the Remembrance Quest. This questline is divided into different chapters, which are written down in your Journal. To progress, you need to interact with various NPCs and complete specific personal objectives.

With the expansion, The Forsaken Hollows, two new characters are introduced, each with their own quests. In this guide, we focus on the Scholar’s Remembrance Quest, explaining each chapter and what actions you need to take in each one.

How to Complete Scholar’s Side Quest

You can start the Scholar’s Remembrance Quest as soon as you unlock the character. To do this, you must defeat Gladius, the first Nightlord available. Our guide offers tips for this fight.

    Chapter 1 and Chapter 2

The initial chapters involve completing expeditions with the Scholar. It doesn’t matter if you succeed or die early; what matters is that you play until you receive Memory Fragments at the Roundtable Hold.

Note: The Memory Fragment notification appears in the lower right corner once you return to the hub. If you miss it, you can check your Journal and switch between pages to see the latest active chapter.

    Chapter 3

Start the remembrance from your Journal. Visit the chapel at the Roundtable Hold, where you’ll find The Undertaker.

On entering, turn right and examine the desk with papers. Reading the “Tear” piece of paper will give you a personal objective. Next, begin the Balancers or Dreglord expeditions alone or with friends.

You don’t need to win the fights—just go to the marked spot on your map, indicated by an orange flag. The location will change with each expedition, so always check your map.

Tip: It’s best to clear a camp, level up, and go on your first day. If you have allies, it’s better, but you can also avoid enemies and rush to the objective.

In my case, I needed to go to a dungeon on the eastern side of the map. Inside, find a room with a ladder and a hole in the floor. Going down reveals a desk with books and an item called Vassal’s Journal.

Complete the expedition (you can die during the first boss fight if playing solo and want to speed through), then return to the chapel. You’ll find Undertaker licking a purple substance on the wall. Interact with her, try to leave, then interact with the NPC at the door. Afterward, talk to Undertaker again, and she will thank you. Ask her for a favor to finish this chapter.

    Chapter 4

Simply continue playing with the Scholar until you earn another Memory Fragment.

    Chapter 5

Open your Journal, select the fifth chapter, and start the Remembrance. Talk to the Small Jar, who will teleport you to the northern keep—a castle in the DLC map. Reach the top floor to find a room with a large icy rock. Climb the rock and the platform above, then find a hole in the wall.

Tip: You’re level 8, so enemies are manageable, but you can skip creatures and avoid fights until necessary.

Proceed through the hole, interact with a door, then go back. You’ll face a few enemies—prepare accordingly. Here’s a guide on the Scholar build and relics to help. Once finished, return to the locked door, now openable, and interact with the desk and the character trapped in crystal in the same room. Finish the Remembrance to earn the Cleansing Tear relic.

    Chapter 6 and Chapter 7

Again, participate in expeditions with the Scholar until Memory Fragments unlock the final chapter.

    Chapter 8

Access your Journal, start the last Remembrance, and speak with Undertaker in the chapel. Interact with the mirror in the garb room and examine your desk.

Your final personal objective will be revealed: defeat Traitorous Straighess in the Dreglord expedition.

Image:[Insert the provided image of the final scene]

Complete the quest by defeating the Traitorous Straighess and collecting your final relic.

Rewards for Completing the Scholar’s Side Quest

After finishing the last chapter, you receive the “My Dear Successor” note relic, which boosts your skills used in allies’ actions, along with the Scholar’s Remembrance skin and the Night of the Dregs relic. If you haven’t defeated the Dreglord before, this relic is great for attacks and spells involving rot.

  • How to Play as the Scholar in Elden Ring: Nightreign and Solving Secrets

How to Play as the Scholar in Elden Ring: Nightreign and Solving Secrets

If you thought Elden Ring: Nightreign was missing a support character, there’s good news. The Forsaken Hollows added two new characters, including Scholar. He introduces a new playstyle focused not on dealing massive damage, but on supporting allies and applying debuffs to enemies.

Understanding how to use Analyze and the best times to activate his Ultimate Art can be challenging. Since Scholar is a Nightfarer who scales with Arcane, it might take a moment to get used to. Don’t worry – here are the top tips for building a Scholar in Elden Ring: Nightreign.

    ### Scholar’s Skill Overview
Scholar’s Passive is called Bagcraft. It allows you to carry more items and level them up. You still have four slots in your pouch, but now you can hold four of the same item (others can only carry two). As you use items, their efficiency improves, and sometimes they gain extra effects.

For example, a level 2 Starlight Shard restores more FP, while a level 3 one increases your maximum FP. The highest level for all items is level 3. You’ll get notifications when an item levels up, often accompanied by a color mark on the item to show its level.

You might not use many items with other classes, but with Scholar, a different approach is encouraged. Using relics that give you starting items can help level them faster during gameplay.

    ### Analyze Skill
Analyze is a key ability. When activated, the screen changes, and circles appear around enemies and allies. Analyzing enemies (their circles fill with red) allows you to apply buffs to yourself (press the right trigger) or debuffs to enemies (left trigger).

Visual cues determine what buffs or debuffs are applied based on how much of the circle you scan:
    – Less than half filled: grants you stamina boost or reduces enemy attack.
    – Half or more filled: provides a bigger stamina boost and stronger attack reduction on enemies.
    – Fully filled: enemies also get a defense debuff, and you can perform a parry within a two-second window by simply receiving their attack. Keep in mind, you can’t apply Analyze effects to both allies and enemies simultaneously; you must choose which to target. While using Analyze, you’re vulnerable—dodging is recommended if attacked.

You can also make Analyze applicable to allies if you have specific relics. The effects depend on the level of scanning:
    – Partial circles grant minor buffs/debuffs.
    – Full circles cause stronger effects, including a chance to parry enemy attacks.

    ### Ultimate Art: Communion – Taboo Knowledge
Scholar’s Ultimate Art is Communion: Taboo Knowledge. It functions as an area-of-effect (AoE) spell that marks all nearby allies and enemies. Allies will heal each time they heal themselves, while enemies take linked damage—hitting one damages all linked enemies by 20%. This can be highly effective against groups or boss fights with multiple enemies.

While using this UA, Scholar is invulnerable for a few seconds. Use it close to allies and enemies to maximize its benefits.

    —

    ### The Best Weapons for Scholar
Scholar’s stats show Arcane as his only S attribute. His preferred weapons are thrusting swords, such as the Eleonora Poleblade. Not many weapons scale with Arcane, but boosting your status effects is key; weapons that cause Blood Loss, Frostbite, Scarlet Rot, or Poison become more powerful.

Remember, your focus isn’t on dealing huge damage but supporting teammates. If you want to optimize your build, consider weapons like:
    – Antspur Rapier (for Blood Loss)
    – Frozen Needle (for Frostbite)
    – Eleonora Poleblade (for Blood Loss)

Using these weapons in combination with Scholar’s passive effects can enhance your effectiveness in battle.

    ### Relics Suitable for Scholar
Completing Scholar’s Remembrance Quest is important to receive relics with special buffs. After finishing Chapter 5, you’ll gain Cleansing Tear, a relic that boosts damage negation, increases your Art gauge when defeating enemies, and deals continuous damage to trapped enemies during your Ultimate Art.

When the quest is completed, you also get Note “My Dear Successor”, a relic that reduces your skill cooldowns and allows you to buff allies after analyzing them. Using this relic on analyzed allies increases their damage output.

For your third relic slot, options include:
    – Augur’s relic: Heals allies when you use flasks and shares effects with nearby allies.
    – The Grand Drizzly Scene relic: A cheaper alternative if the full relic isn’t acquired yet, especially if you haven’t defeated the related boss.

Additional relics focus on starting items like Poison or Blood Loss boosts. For example, completing the Sentiest Pest expedition grants the Nightlord’s relic, which provides Poison at the start of the game.

    —

    ### Tips for Playing as Scholar
During early gameplay, be cautious. Scholar is primarily a support character. Instead of rushing to destroy everything, focus on assisting allies and controlling the battle. While you won’t be able to attack during Analyze, dodging is still possible and vital.

Re-activating Analyze quickly can preserve some progress on enemy analysis, but this effect depletes fast unless you have relics that slow its drain. Save your Ultimate Art for tough enemies or bosses with powerful, unpredictable moves. Its invulnerability makes it ideal for avoiding damage and status effects.

Be strategic in timing your abilities for maximum support and survivability.

  • How to Defeat Tricephalos and Complete Scholar & Undertaker in Elden Ring

How to Defeat Tricephalos and Complete Scholar & Undertaker in Elden Ring

If you’ve bought both Elden Ring: Nightreign and its first expansion, The Forsaken Hollows, you might be wondering where the new characters Scholar and Undertaker are, along with all the other game content. The answer is simple: you need to complete the Tricephalos expedition first to unlock everything else.

This expedition features the Gladius Beast of Night, a large wolf with three heads and a chained sword on its back. As the only Nightlord available, this fight is one of the easier battles, but it still requires some effort and several attempts. Learn how to defeat the Gladius Beast of Night in Elden Ring: Nightreign.

How to Defeat the Gladius Beast of Night (Tricephalos)

When the fight begins, you’ll see the boss in its true form: a wolf with three heads. However, as you deal damage, it will sometimes split into three separate enemies. Let’s focus on its original form first.

Tip: Being level 10 is enough to challenge this boss, but a higher level makes it easier. The boss’s main weakness is Holy damage, so try to equip weapons or spells with Holy properties during your fight.

Gladius can jump forward briefly and attack with all three mouths at once. Rolling backward is an effective way to avoid this attack. Focus your attacks on the boss’s back, especially when it prepares to jump or attack.

While fighting, watch out for quick turns. Gladius may suddenly spin and attack with its head, especially when it stands on its back feet, grabs the sword, and does a 360° attack. Wait for the pause before the spin and dodge just before the sword hits. Be aware that Gladius can spin twice in a row, attacking both times.

It can also bite with one or more heads in quick succession, indicating an upcoming multi-head bite. When on Gladius’s back, it can turn rapidly and strike with its head, so stay alert.

Gladius has long-range attacks with its sword. It can grab the chains on its back and shoot a straight-line attack. Simply rolling aside will help avoid it. However, the boss also throws fire from its mouth—another long-range attack. Don’t get complacent about maintaining distance; this fire reach is very long, and the best tactic is to wait for the boss’s mouths to charge with fire and then dodge to either side when it releases.

A good strategy is to have one player draw the boss’s attention while the other two attack its back and anticipate turns. It’s ideal to have at least one character with long-range attacks, allowing them to dodge quick turns and chain attacks more easily.

When Gladius splits into three enemies

This phase happens temporarily: the three heads split into separate enemies, but they don’t gain new moves. It can be tricky, especially if you’re attacking from a distance, since two of the Gladius copies will focus on just one player, making coordination important.

The best approach is to assign one player to each enemy so everyone knows what to expect. Alternatively, a less experienced player can stay close to a more skilled teammate and focus on taking down one of the Gladius copies.

Note: Only one of the three enemies carries the sword. Concentrate on the two with limited movesets, but don’t forget to keep an eye on your back to avoid surprise attacks. During this phase, it’s often better not to lock onto targets to maintain better control of your camera and awareness.

    Additional attack patterns

While bites are easy to dodge—simply roll to the side—Gladius can also stand on its back feet, grab the sword, and perform a 360° attack. Look for a brief pause before the spin, and dodge just before the sword swings. Remember, Gladius can spin twice in a row, attacking both times.

The boss’s long-range sword attack involves grabbing the chains and striking in a straight line. Its mouth fire attack also has a significant reach, so stay cautious and dodge accordingly.

The main tactic during this fight is to designate one player as the main target, drawing most of the attention, while the other two attack Gladius’s back and prepare for quick turns. Long-range players should take advantage of their reach to avoid both quick spins and chain attacks.

After defeating Gladius Beast of Night

Defeating the boss unlocks six additional expeditions from the base game, one DLC expedition called The Balancers, the Night of the Beast relic, an Old Pocketwatch (which grants access to more characters), the two playable characters from The Forsaken Hollows (located in the hub), and various relics to collect.

  • How to Defeat Dreglord in Elden Ring: Completing The Forsaken Hollows

How to Defeat Dreglord in Elden Ring: Completing The Forsaken Hollows

The Forsaken Hollows added two new quests in Elden Ring: Nightreign. The first, The Balancers, is the only one available initially. Complete it and defeat Weapon-Bequeathed Harmonia to unlock the tougher Dreglord.

Once you begin the Dreglord quest, you’ll face some mid-level bosses like the famous Artorias or the powerful Lord of Blood. The final boss in this part is Traitorous Straghess, a very challenging enemy. Here’s everything you need to know to defeat him in The Forsaken Hollows.

    How to Defeat Traitorous Straghess

Traitorous Straghess is the Nightlord found at the end of the Dreglord quest. You should be at least level 15 before fighting him, as this is one of the hardest battles in the game.

This boss uses a lot of Rot during his attacks, so boosting your resistances before fighting can help. He’s weak to fire and holy damage but resistant to lightning.

He appears as a large creature on two legs, wielding a big staff. He can attack with his staff once or twice in a row, always striking in front of him from one side to the other. Watch his body lean forward before he starts a combo.

Use ranged attacks to keep aggro on him, with one player drawing his attention while others attack from a safe distance. He tends to lose posture when hit with charged melee hits, especially from heavy weapons.

He often charges Rot balls, first throwing them onto the ground and later aiming them at you. Beware of pools of Rot that appear briefly and remain for a moment.

His combo begins with a quick attack with his free hand. He then drags his staff from the ground, pauses briefly, performs two quick blows, pauses again, and finishes with a longer attack starting with the staff overhead. During these moves, jumping to his back is advantageous, as most melee strikes are in front.

<imagine a picture of the boss charging Rot balls, with pools on the ground.>

One of his dangerous attacks involves creating a mountain of Rot that explodes after a few seconds. When he rises or prepares this move, back away to avoid damage or dodge at the right time to evade the explosion.

After this attack, Rot will rain down in the area. If your Rot gauge is full, you’ll slowly lose health. Ignore the regular enemies that emerge from Rot pools—they are slow and unlikely to distract you unless they are very close.

Later, he will summon larger enemies, but focus your attention on him. Use ranged attacks with a single player taking the boss’s aggro, and be prepared to dodge his charged melee swings. Gear up for his jump attacks, especially when carrying a Rot ball, which he will sometimes throw or use to jump onto towers or rise from below, then charge at you with devastating damage. Wait for him to land and roll toward him to avoid damage and set up quick counterattacks.

He can summon structures after screeching, then jump into or between them. When he does so, he will fly between structures, then strike with Rot balls, causing double explosions on landing. During this phase, abstain from attacking until the explosions finish—precise timing to roll away is crucial to avoid damage.

His final phase involves bigger Rot mountains and more aggressive behavior. He may throw Rot projectiles, jump onto towers or rise from below, and launch dual explosion attacks when creating structures or charging. Watch for visual cues on the ground indicating where explosions will occur and roll away instantly.

To land heavy damage, it’s effective to hit him with projectiles, especially if one player draws his aggression and dodges his attacks. Also, melee charged hits, particularly from heavy weapons, can break his posture if enough hits connect.

Using the critical hit—when his posture is sufficiently broken—is a good strategy. Charge damage for about two seconds before executing it to maximize damage output.

He can create structures with his scream; avoid attacking during this time. He will leap onto or between structures, then explode upon landing. Keep clear of the explosion marks on the ground by rolling away precisely when the marks appear.

His repeated mountain of Rot attack becomes larger in later stages—wait a bit longer before dodging to avoid it, and look for cues indicating a bigger explosion is imminent.

Defeating him for the first time grants the Red Relic, The Night of the Dregs, which increases Rot damage. Additionally, you’ll unlock skins for the Scholar and Undertaker classes.

  • How To Defeat The Lord Of Blood in Elden Ring: The Forsaken Hollows

How To Defeat The Lord Of Blood in Elden Ring: The Forsaken Hollows

The Forsaken Hollows introduces several new bosses in Elden Ring: Nightreign, including familiar faces from the original game or previous Souls titles. One such boss is the Lord of Blood, who is also known as Mohg. You’ll encounter this optional boss when trying to access Shadow of the Erdtree.

What about Mohg’s second appearance? Is he the same as before, or has he changed? Does he now have a fresh set of blood-themed and tricky spells? Let’s go over everything you need to know about defeating the Lord of Blood in The Forsaken Hollows.

How to Find the Lord of Blood

You can only face the Lord of Blood during Day 2 of The Balancers’ expedition. You’ll notice his presence when you battle Curseblade and Divine Beast Warrior at the end of Day 1.

Note: This boss is likely the toughest encounter on Day 2 in the DLC. It’s recommended to be at least level 11 with a minimum of two to three flasks remaining. Any items that help against blood attacks can be very useful.

How to Defeat the Lord of Blood

    First Phase

In the first phase, the Lord of Blood won’t have many attack options, but he is still dangerous. If you’ve fought him in the original Elden Ring, his moves will seem familiar because he repeats many patterns. If you haven’t, don’t worry — we’ll cover everything.

He attacks mainly with a large trident, delivering straightforward strikes. These are often combined with an aerial blood claw attack, which leaves marks before exploding shortly afterward.

He can also summon blood attacks that build your Blood Loss meter if you’re not careful. Watch for him to create circles above him with one hand. When close to the boss, he might rain blood around him. Be cautious—you can also be hit by blood that he throws far away.

Tip: Both of these attacks leave burning ground for a moment. Avoid stepping on them.

He can dash forward with his weapon in a straight line, which you should dodge by sidestepping (not backwards). As you damage him, he will raise his weapon, perform a quick ritual, and create a red ring near you. This attack is unavoidable, so be prepared. When he stacks up three rings, he activates a powerful attack that cannot be fully blocked, only mitigated by a specific healing item.

Tip: During these attacks, stay healthy, and consider attacking only if you’re confident you can avoid interruption or use your most powerful attacks to land heavy hits.

Once roughly half of his health is gone, he will summon a third blood ring and initiate a ritual. This causes him to unleash three Blood Loss attacks in succession as he heals significant health.

    Second Phase

After completing his blood ritual, he transitions into a new phase, gaining wings and new attack patterns. Many of his previous moves return, but now he can fly and execute more dangerous attacks.

He may ascend into the sky, then throw burning blood that leaves a trail, before swooping toward a player for an attack. The blood usually won’t reach players far away, but if he targets you directly, dodge aside to avoid the attack.

He has a combo where he attacks from right to left and then left to right, which is best avoided with well-timed rolls. Dodge backwards a few times if needed to escape his reach.

In this phase, he gains a new, frustrating attack: he charges to summon multiple blood tridents on the ground. After a brief delay, he activates them, creating poisonous blood clouds—dealing massive AoE damage that’s hard to avoid unless you’re far enough away.

Tip: During unavoidable attacks, heal consistently and ensure your health is high enough; otherwise, a single hit can kill you. Using your strongest attack arts or skills can help, but focus on survival first.

He can also jump and attack in front of you, which requires quick side-steps. Additionally, he performs a spinning attack involving his trident, sweeping from right to left and back. Dodging at the right moment or rolling backwards can help avoid this.

His melee hits now leave flames on the ground, so always lure him into areas unaffected by fire to minimize damage.

One of his most annoying moves in this phase involves summoning multiple blood tridents after charging. You can destroy some of these projectiles by attacking or shooting them, but there are often too many, and they’re quite durable. Focus on destroying the closest ones to you and your allies, and avoid the rest until the ritual completes.

Warning: This blood ritual can be repeated multiple times during the fight.

    Tips for Success

    • The Lord of Blood is vulnerable for many seconds after landing critical hits. Use heavy weapons or powerful arts to trigger critical strikes often.
    • During his attack phases, stay close and bait out his move, then strike during recovery windows.
    • Prioritize destroying blood tridents when possible, especially the ones near you, to reduce AoE damage.
    • Keep your health topped up during all phases to withstand unexpected hits.

Note: The boss’s mechanics rely on timing and positioning. Patience and learning his attack patterns are key to victory.

All Skins in Foraken Hollows & How to Complete and Solve Them in Elden Ring

Elden Ring: Nightreign – The Forsaken Hollows is the first expansion crafted by FromSoftware for their renowned game. It introduces new bosses, relics, and playable characters, all offering fresh ways to experience the game and engage with enemies. Players can also enjoy the new character skins to showcase their style.

Both the Scholar and the Undertaker characters have unlockable outfits, but you’ll need to complete certain tasks first to buy them using your in-game currency. Here’s everything you need to know about unlocking these new skins in The Forsaken Hollows.

    ### How to Unlock All Skins

In total, each character can unlock five different skins. These include standard variants and a few exclusive, character-specific skins, some reminiscent of classic looks from the Souls series.

To unlock the default Dawn and Darkness outfits, you must defeat The Balancers at least once—an especially challenging fight. After doing so, you will unlock four skins, but they still need to be purchased.

The Remembrance versions become available after completing the side quests for the Scholar and the Undertaker.

The remaining two skins are unlocked once you finish the second new expedition called The Dreglord with each character. To access this mission, you first need to complete The Balancers.

Here’s a table summarizing all skins and their costs:

Remember, after defeating The Balancers, the skins become available but still need to be purchased with your in-game currency. Completing the side quests or second expedition is necessary to unlock the last skins for each character.

  • How to Completing Undertaker’s Remembrance & Solving in Elden Ring: Nightreign

How to Completing Undertaker’s Remembrance & Solving in Elden Ring: Nightreign

Elden Ring: Nightreign has a new expansion called The Forsaken Hollows, adding fresh content to the game. It features a new map, new bosses from across the franchise, and two new hero options to play. One of the heroes is the Undertaker, a character built around Faith and Strength, aimed at maximizing damage. To upgrade her, you should complete her Remembrance quest, which grants special relics with Undertaker-specific bonuses. Here’s what you need to do to finish the quest and obtain her relics.

    Undertaker Remembrance Walkthrough

    Chapters 1–2:
Start by collecting Memory Fragments for the Undertaker by defeating Nightlords. It doesn’t matter which Nightlord you choose, but targeting easier ones like Gaping Jaw, Tricephalos, or Augur can speed things up. I only needed to kill one Nightlord to unlock Chapter 3, so check your journal after each fight to make sure you’re making progress on Undertaker’s Remembrance.

    Chapter 3:
To begin this chapter, first talk to the Iron Menial. He will see you as a threat and try to kill you, but he has low health, so quickly defeat him. As he dies, he will call for other Nightfarers to attack you. Prepare for a challenge where you face a series of enemies, starting with the Executioner, who waits near the Small Jar Bazaar. Though these enemies don’t have much health, they can still pack a punch. Focus on staggering the Executioner to open him up for attacks since most of his moves leave him vulnerable, except his parry.

After defeating him, head to the Round Table, where Revenant and Guardian are waiting. If your Ultimate Art is ready, aim at Revenant first for a swift kill, then take on Guardian. You can even kill both with one Ultimate Attack if you time it right.

Next, return to the Small Jar Bazaar to find Wylder. Defeat him as he is a straightforward opponent, then proceed into the church. Inside, you’ll see Raider with Ironeye lurking in the corner. For this fight, focus on Ironeye first; his poison and range can be tricky. Take him out quickly. Raider is slow, but watch out for his jump attack. After defeating both, destroy the wall item and embrace the Night. Undertaker will start licking the wall (yes, really) until she hears footsteps nearby. Find the sound of footsteps to the northwest of the Roundtable, speak with the scholar standing by a statue, and complete this chapter to earn your first relic, the Leather Monocle Case.

    Chapter 4:
Again, defeat Nightlords and gather Memory Fragments. Usually, defeating just one Nightlord is enough. Check your journal after each fight to make sure the step is complete; this part only counts when you’re playing as the Undertaker.

    Chapter 5:
Speak with Dutchess at the Roundtable and exhaust her dialogue. Then, go to the small chapel that unlocked at the start of this DLC and pray at the altar. After that, talk to the Iron Menial, who will inform you about a new Shifting Earth event.

Jump into a match of either Balancers or Dreglord and head north toward the marked area. It’s recommended to do this solo, as most players won’t want to travel north to finish this quest portion. Remember, even though the description might mention other maps, this step needs to be completed on the Great Hollow map, not Limveld.

Start by reaching the castle with the red circle banner. Inside, look at the main gate, then go left around the castle exterior, following the cliffs to a jump point. Use this to reach the second floor of the castle, enter the room with a chained-up monster hanging overhead, and carefully climb onto it to reach the rafters. Be cautious—falling will force you to start outside and go around again, so take your time.

Once on the rafters, find a small door with a blue light and enter. Inside, you’ll see Scholar pinned to a large crystal. Interact to get an item and a brief dialogue. Finish the run (success isn’t required), then return to the Roundtable. Talk to the Scholar in the chapel, exhaust his dialogue, and this will conclude the Remembrance.

    Chapter 6:
No more Memory Fragments are needed. For the final part, you need to defeat the Night Aspect and do a specific action afterward. Load up a run as Undertaker and fight the boss. This boss is weak to Holy, which suits Undertaker’s Faith weapons. After killing the Night Aspect, make sure to clear some items from your consumables before being taken to the final area.

You will receive an item called the Dismembered Finger. Drop it on the corpse nearby to trigger the last step of the Remembrance, signaled when Undertaker says, “This will do… I am sure.” Interact with the corpse afterward to complete the quest and unlock the final relic, the Glass Necklace, and optionally, her Remembrance skin.

  • Conquering the Fire-Summoning Beasts in Elden Ring: The Forsaken Hollows

Conquering the Fire-Summoning Beasts in Elden Ring: The Forsaken Hollows

Elden Ring’s first major DLC, Nightreign, has dropped new content, including bosses, enemies, and fresh classes. One notable feature is the new event called Fire-Summoning Beasts, which involves your team moving around the map to defeat three bosses and earn a powerful passive buff. Here’s what you need to know about this event and whether it’s worth your effort.

How to Beat the Fire-Summoning Beasts Event

The event starts right after Night 1. Three red circles appear on the map, signaling the beginning of the event. When players enter these circles, the screen turns reddish with flying embers, indicating the event is active.

At the center of each circle is a Sundered Tricephalos, a large wolf split into parts by the Nightlord of the same name. These enemies have low health and are weak to Holy damage, making them easier to defeat if you’re using a Revenant or Undertaker build.

Important tip: Be aware that defeating one Sundered Tricephalos will power up the remaining ones, making the next bosses more challenging.

These wolves use attacks similar to the Nightlord version, so expect some familiar moves. Once you defeat one, it will spawn three smaller versions of itself that chase you relentlessly. You can either fight them or keep moving to avoid them.

When you arrive at subsequent bosses, if you didn’t kill the chasing dogs, they’ll be waiting. Defeating each boss will spawn even more aggressive hellhounds, increasing the difficulty of the last fight. Each boss you take down rewards you with 26,910 Runes, totaling 80,730 Runes if you defeat all three.

Bonus: Completing the Fire-Summoning Beasts event grants your entire team the Beast’s Hunt passive. This buff boosts stamina recovery for the team and allows you to regain stamina with each attack. While not the most flashy, this stamina regen can really help especially for melee classes constantly in motion.

  • Completing Augur’s Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring: Nightreign

Completing Augur’s Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring: Nightreign

Among the Everdark Sovereigns in Elden Ring Nightreign, Augur is probably the easiest to defeat—once you understand her trick. She relies on one main move and needs some preparation before facing her. You should study her patterns rather than rushing in blindly.

With our guidance, you’ll gain insights into her weaknesses. For example, banishing her and ending her reign involves using the Storm Ruler, a weapon infused with the power of the Nightlord, which Maris herself supplied. It seems as if Augur wants you to beat her—so who are we to refuse?

How To Prepare For Everdark Sovereign: Augur

Insert physical or visual info about her appearance and environment here

    Weak Against: Lightning
Strong Against: Fire, Magic, Holy, Strike
Immune To: Madness, Sleep, Bleed, Poison
    Damage Types: Standard, Magic
    Total HP:

    • Solo: 29,450
    • Duo: 58,900
    • Full Party: 88,260

Unlike other bosses, you don’t need to choose special areas or weapons. All you get is a Legendary version of your starting weapon with a unique Ash of War: Storm Ruler. This is your main tool, especially in her second phase, as it’s the only way to deal significant damage.

Note: This Ash of War is essential for breaking her armor and damaging her in her second phase.

    Recommended Preparations

Since no specific weapons are needed, focus on boosting your survivability:

    • Increase Flask regeneration.
    • Maximize stamina and stamina regeneration.
    • Raise resistance to ailments to 57 or higher.

    Bring along these items:

    • 2 Warming Stones
    • Boiled Crab
    • An extra Flask of your preferred type

The Warming Stone is particularly useful because you’ll spend a lot of time stationary, charging your Storm Ruler.

    Recommended Characters

Any character class works because her weapon scales with your stats. That said, characters with high mobility and stamina excel here. Think of those who can dodge and reposition quickly.

    Augur’s New Moveset

Insert visual of her attack animations and patterns

Her new move set is straightforward, making her fights more about endurance than skill. Once you get used to her quick attacks and minimal tricks, defeating her becomes a matter of whittling down her large health pool.

    Tips for the Fight

    • Wave Breaker: Augur spins and gathers blue energy, then releases a wave. Dodge by sprinting sideways or chain-dodging through it; be ready to heal if you’re caught.
    • Night’s Divide: Augur flies up, channels a blue laser, and fires it in front then upwards. You should sprint left or right and dodge at the last second to escape the blue field.
    • Star Barrage: She spirals into the air and rains star-shaped orbs, which explode after landing. Stay locked-on for precise movement, then dodge or sprint out of their range.
    • Charge: She charges forward in a wider spiral. Dodge forward through her and stay close.
    • Night’s Crown: She spins and surrounds herself with purple orbs firing beams. Focus on destroying these orbs with Storm Ruler or dodge away as the beams fire.

    Key Mechanics

    • Waves are dangerous because they sneak up quickly; sprint around their sides to avoid damage.
    • Star Barrage can target multiple players. Turn off auto-lock to better see where the orbs are flying and react accordingly.
    • She cannot be critted due to her size, so prioritize using Storm Ruler’s powered-up attacks.

    Strategy for Victory

Once she enters her second phase, aim Storm Ruler at her purple orbs when she reaches about 70% health. Destroying or dispelling these orbs:

    1. Stops her magic beams.
    2. Lowers her threat level.
    3. Causes her to stagger temporarily, leaving her vulnerable.

When her health drops to around 40%, she’ll perform a Wave Break attack multiple times—avoid these waves at all costs. Staying under her is the riskiest move, so keep your distance and stay attentive.

    Rewards

Defeating her grants access to a new Everdark Sovereign relic:

    • Dark Night of the Fathom:
      • Increases max HP
      • Restores HP consistently during combat
      • Slowly heals you and allies when HP is low

By mastering her attack patterns, especially Storm Ruler usage, the fight boils down to patience, endurance, and strategic damage application.

  • Elden Ring Fans Spot More Tarnished Completing the Cover Art

Elden Ring Fans Spot More Tarnished Completing the Cover Art

Three years have passed since Elden Ring was released, but there may still be secrets that players haven’t uncovered. It’s likely that the developers have hidden some surprises in The Lands Between or the new Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.

Interestingly, some players are just now noticing details in the game’s cover art. This artwork is visible even before you create your character or start the game. On the cover of Elden Ring, there’s more to see than just the main character.

Vyke Isn’t The Only Tarnished On The Elden Ring Cover

You can probably picture the Elden Ring cover art: Vyke is kneeling with a sword in the ground, the Elden Ring above him, and a barren landscape surrounding them. However, many missed the fact that there are several bodies nearby, and they aren’t just random foes.

According to Nasz316, the three bodies on the ground belong to Ensha, Jerren, and Dung Eater, who are also Tarnished players you meet in the game. Some think one of the bodies may actually belong to Vargram instead of Dung Eater.

Many comments from players express shock at noticing these bodies for the first time. One user said, “Is it bad to say this is the first time I even noticed there were other bodies in this art? I swear I only ever saw Vyke.” Another commented, “I never looked closely enough at this piece to realize they aren’t just rocks.” One even admitted, “Is it bad that I didn’t even know it was Vyke? I guess I never really took a good look at the cover art after the first time back when Elden Ring came out.”

However, these dead Tarnished figures are not just for fun—there may be deeper lore implications. The presence of Ensha, Jerren, and Dung Eater could signify the devastation that Frenzy brings.

  • Unlocking Perfumed Oil of Ranah in Elden Ring: A Quick Guide

Unlocking Perfumed Oil of Ranah in Elden Ring: A Quick Guide

The Perfumed Oil of Ranah is a fresh addition to Elden Ring, courtesy of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Favored by the dancers of Rannah, this small, fragrant vial can create chaos for unprepared foes.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to locate the Perfumed Oil of Ranah in Elden Ring and how to harness it to build an impressive Dexterity-focused character.

Where to Find the Perfumed Oil of Ranah

You can find the Perfumed Oil of Ranah on a small island in the southern part of the Cerulean Coast.

This island also features the Southern Nameless Mausoleum, the resting place of the Dancer of Ranah.

To get to the Cerulean Coast, defeat the Golden Hippopotamus at the beginning of Shadow Keep, then head to the left. Ascend the path until you reach rooftops dotted with burning ships.

On the other side of the courtyard, stick to the left wall until you spot a ladder leading downward. Descend the ladder and enter the waterfall to uncover a hidden route. Follow it until you find a room with the Domain of the Dragons painting.

Smash the illusory wall on the right to unlock a new passage. Follow this trail and enter the coffin to reach the Ruins of Unte. Continue down the path to the right until you arrive at the Recluse’s River Downstream site of grace.

Stick to the right again as you proceed, and you’ll find a vast opening leading to a field teeming with blue flowers. Welcome to the Cerulean Coast in Elden Ring.

Starting from the Cerulean Coast site of grace, head south along the shoreline until you spot a tree near a cliff edge. You should see an island across the water.

Carefully drop down from the cliff and examine the base of the tree to discover an opening that leads into a cave. Proceed through the cave heading south, and you’ll reach the small southern island of the Cerulean Coast.

Upon exiting the cave, turn around and scale the small cliff. Watch out for two giant crabs lurking nearby. Near the edge of the cliff, facing the Southern Nameless Mausoleum, you’ll find a corpse.

Interact with the body to acquire the Perfumed Oil of Ranah in Elden Ring.

Stats and Applications of Perfumed Oil of Ranah

The Perfumed Oil of Ranah is an FP-consuming tool that unleashes waves of flames in front of the user. It costs 13 FP to use and has an A scaling with Dexterity, making it an essential choice for Dexterity builds.

This item can be enhanced by any talismans or items that increase fire damage, but it does not benefit from the Perfumer’s Talisman in Elden Ring.

Optimal Build for Perfumed Oil of Ranah

This build will utilize a fully upgraded Finger Seal to cast various incantations.

Focusing on a Dexterity build with the Perfumed Oil of Ranah, distribute your attribute points as follows:

    • Vigor: 60
    • Dexterity: 80
    • Faith: 25
    • Endurance/Mind: 35

Equip the Rakshasa’s Armor set to boost your overall attack power by 8%. Select the following talismans for this build:

    • Fire Scorpion Charm: To augment fire attack strength.
    • Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman: To considerably enhance physical defense.
    • Two-Headed Turtle Talisman: Boosts stamina recovery by 22.5%.
    • Crimson Amber Medallion +2: Significantly increases your HP.

Mix the following crystal tears into the Flask of Wondrous Physick:

    • Flame Shrouding Cracked Tear: Temporarily amplifies fire attack power.
    • Bloodsucking Cracked Tear: Increases attack power while gradually consuming HP.

This build allows you to inflict upwards of 6000 damage to enemies susceptible to fire attacks. Be sure to wield the Perfumed Oil of Ranah in two hands for extra damage.

Keep in mind, though, that this setup isn’t ideal for bosses resistant to fire, such as Messmer the Impaler.

  • Elden Ring: Ultimate Guide to Bonny Gaol Secrets

Elden Ring: Ultimate Guide to Bonny Gaol Secrets

Bonny Gaol is a newly introduced dungeon in Elden Ring, available exclusively through the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. This hidden area lies to the south of Bonny Village and is populated with jars and shamans.

This guide will assist you in finding Bonny Gaol by first locating the concealed Bonny Village within Elden Ring, and will also walk you through the items you can gather there. Be sure to achieve at least Scadutree Blessing Level 10 for a smoother experience in this dungeon.

Finding Bonny Gaol in Elden Ring

To locate Bonny Gaol, head south from Bonny Village. Start your journey at the Moorth Ruins site of grace, then head south and to the left near the gate to find a collapsed and leaning structure.

Drop down the hole near this house. Use your Torrent to reach the bottom and follow the winding path down until you arrive at the very base.

Keep heading south until you find a ladder leading outside. Use it to enter Bonny Village. From the Bonny Village site of grace, proceed south and cross the bridge to reach the entrance to Bonny Gaol, as indicated on the map.

    Bonny Gaol Walkthrough

From the Bonny Gaol site of grace, proceed down the cave and take your first right near the hanging jars. Turn right again to access a small jail cell containing 8x Frozen Maggots.

Be cautious of a shaman ambushing you in the jail cell. Exit and defeat another shaman in the vicinity. You can skip the next room on the right, as there are no valuables there.

Before entering the third room on the right, turn back and drop down using a couple of hanging jars. Inside the first room, defeat an enemy and grab 1x Frozen Maggot from the ground.

Return outside and veer left. Move slowly, as there is a room to your left at the path’s end, where another shaman awaits an ambush.

If you move too hastily, the shaman may push you off the edge. Once inside the room, defeat another shaman and collect 1x Hefty Cracked Pot.

Exit the room and turn right, heading to the ledge’s edge. Stand on the button to call down a hanging jar. Use it to lift yourself back up and then proceed into the third room on the right.

Eliminate the scorched enemies in this space and loot 10x Bolts. Open the closed door to access the next room.

Defeat a few enemies and jump down a hole at the far end of the room. Grab 1x Broken Rune, then turn back immediately.

Follow the water flow back upstream, eliminating any rats you encounter. Squeeze through a small opening on the right to secure 1x Smithing Stone 2.

Return outdoors and follow the path until you spot a ladder. Climb it to find another jail cell above. As you enter, watch for another Shaman ambushing you. Defeat it and take home the Stalwart Horn Charm +2.

Drop down the hole, exit the room, and turn right. Enter the adjacent room and continue following the path until you jump back into a hole.

This time, follow the water downstream to uncover 1x Broken Rune from the end of the tunnel.

Head back and take your first right. Travel this route while keeping clear of slug enemies. Turn right to collect 1x Invigorating Cured Meat.

Retrace your steps and drop down from an opening in the wall. Follow the path and immediately veer left. Stick to the left wall and defeat a jar enemy. Collect 1x Broken Rune near a jail cell.

Turn back and go left to confront five more jar enemies. Defeat all of them to find 1x Lost Ashes of War from a mound of corpses on your right.

Follow the path until you drop down another opening in the wall. This room features numerous hanging jars. Collect 1x Innard Meat and take down a pair of Shaman enemies.

To your left, you’ll find 1x Raw Meat Dumpling nestled within a shattered jar. Proceed into the next room and leave through a door on the left.

Immediately take a left and descend the stairs to gather 1x Silver Horn Tender from a body inside a small jail cell on your left.

Follow the path and eliminate a few scorched enemies to enter the room on the opposite side. Survive the ambush, advance to the next room, and exit outside, waiting for the hanging jar to lower.

Use this hanging jar as an elevator to descend. Hit the elevator button and jump on the jar once again to elevate back to the top.

Jump onto the platform and eliminate the scorched enemies. Acquire the complete Night Armor set, which consists of:

    • Helm of Night
    • Armor of Night
    • Gauntlets of Night
    • Greaves of Night

Ascend the stairs and eliminate the shaman enemy behind the right door. Collect the Shield of Night from a corpse on a ledge.

Turn back, head downstairs, and use the jars to lower yourself further down to reach the bridge. Two shaman enemies will ambush you on the bridge. Defeat both and drop down to the left.

Follow the path and descend the stairs. To your right, you’ll locate the yellow fog door of the boss.

How to Defeat Curseblade Labirith in Elden Ring

This boss fight is manageable, particularly if you’re utilizing a magic build. Curseblade Labirith will cast darkness over the arena at the start of the battle.

Focus on the boss and summon Greatblade Phalanx. This spell tracks the enemy and delivers a powerful magic attack.

The boss employs rapid attacks that can be easily blocked or dodged. Upon defeating the boss, you’ll earn Curseblade Meera’s ashes as your reward.

Your journey through Bonny Gaol in Elden Ring will conclude here.

  • Unlocking the Golem Fist in Elden Ring: A Complete Guide

Unlocking the Golem Fist in Elden Ring: A Complete Guide

The Golem Fist is a newly introduced weapon in Elden Ring, part of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. This unique weapon is crafted from shattered rocks sourced from the remains of forge golems.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to farm the Golem Fist and optimize it for an impressive Bleed Build that can take down any boss with ease.

Where to Find the Golem Fist in Elden Ring

You can farm the Golem Fist by taking down Stone Golems located in Taylew’s Ruined Forge, which is situated at Rauh Base, west of Scadu Altus.

To reach the forge, start from the Highroad Cross Site of Grace, heading northwest. Follow the path left, passing through a cave where you’ll encounter a Giant Miranda Sprout and some Perfumer enemies. Make sure to dodge the Stone Birds in the next area before entering the toxic swamp.

Once at the Rauh Base Site of Grace, continue northwest until you arrive at the marked location. Enter the broken building through a small entrance, leading you to Taylew’s Ruined Forge.

Keep in mind that the Golem Fist has a low 3% drop rate for every 100 points in the Discovery stat. To maximize your chances, consume a Silver Pickled Fowl Foot and wear the Silver Tear Mask to enhance your discovery rate. You can farm several Stone Golems in the early sections of the forge without issues.

Be cautious of the Flame Tears, as they can be deadly if you’re not careful while farming the Stone Golems. Follow these steps to easily get the Golem Fist weapon in Elden Ring.

Stats and Requirements for the Golem Fist

The Golem Fist in Elden Ring is classified as a Strength weapon, requiring 24 Strength, 11 Faith, 11 Intelligence, and 8 Dexterity to wield.

The Golem Fist has C scaling for Strength and E scaling for Faith, Intelligence, and Dexterity stats. Its weapon skill, known as Endure, costs 9 FP and temporarily boosts your poise.

You can apply any compatible Ash of War to this weapon, as well as various consumables, greases, and magic.

You can upgrade the Golem Fist to +25 using Smithing Stones. Starting at the base, it delivers 110 Physical Damage, which can be improved to a maximum of 269.

When executing a heavy attack (R2/RT), the player can launch the fist as a projectile toward enemies. If you’re two-handing this weapon, using a strong attack will allow you to throw both fists at once.

This fist weapon weighs a mere 5 and can fetch 500 Runes when sold to any merchant in the game.

Best Build for the Golem Fist in Elden Ring

For this build, focus on a fully upgraded Golem Fist with a blood Affinity to trigger Bleed effects. Pair it with a fully upgraded Dragon Communion Seal to cast the following incantations:

These incantations will significantly enhance your attack power. This build is optimized for an endgame character at level 180, with skill points distributed as follows:

    • Vigor: 60
    • Strength: 80
    • Arcane: 50

To further boost your attack power, equip these talismans:

    • Lord of Blood’s Exultation: Increases attack power by 20% for 20 seconds after a bleed occurs.
    • Millicent’s Prosthesis: Boosts Dexterity by 5 and enhances damage on successive hits.
    • Rotten Winged Sword Insignia: Raises attack power of consecutive attacks by up to 13%.
    • Axe Talisman: Boosts attack power of charged skill attacks.

Wearing the White Mask of Varre will amplify your attack power during bleeding situations. For the rest of the armor, opt for Rakshasa’s Armor set to increase attack power by an additional 6%.

You can use the Great Turtle Shell shield to improve your stamina recovery speed by 7%. However, it’s optional since you’ll primarily be two-handing the Golem Fist in Elden Ring.

With this setup, you can take down any boss in mere seconds by spamming the heavy attack!

  • Completing the Sentient Pest Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring Nightreign

Completing the Sentient Pest Everdark Sovereign in Elden Ring Nightreign

The formidable Sentient Pest returns in Elden Ring Nightreign, now appearing in a chilling new form. If taking on two foes wasn’t challenging enough, players can now face three adversaries at once. The twist? These enemies can resurrect themselves, ensuring that a tough battle is always on the horizon.

Fortunately, compared to earlier encounters in the Everdark Sovereign series, the Sentient Pest is notably easier in terms of both power and strategy. This fight doesn’t hinge entirely on skill, dodging complex attacks, or intricate builds; it primarily tests your stamina and tactical thinking.

How to Prepare for the Everdark Sovereign: Sentient Pest

While facing the Everdark Sentient Pest, having a game plan makes a world of difference. The unique aspect of this encounter is:

When one enemy is defeated, Animus temporarily inhabits their body, transforming them into a stronger version.

Understanding this mechanic is crucial for success:

    • If you’re struggling with the scorpion, Faurtis, focus on taking down the moth, Gnoster.
    • If Gnoster is your bane, then prioritize Faurtis instead.

Craft your strategy around the boss you find most challenging. If you need to refresh your memory on their move sets, check our official guide on the standard Sentient Pest.

    Key Damage Types:

Sentient Pest is particularly vulnerable to Fire damage, making fire-infused weapons a priority for this battle.

    Recommended Characters

Selecting the right characters plays a significant role in combat outcomes:

    • For melee fighters, Wylder and Raider are excellent picks.
    • For those who prefer ranged attacks, Ironeye and Recluse are ideal.

However, Duchess stands out as a versatile choice for any playstyle.

Wylder benefits from his Flame Strike ability, which deals fire damage and stuns enemies. Raider, with his strength-based weapons, can break through Faurtis’s defenses while using Totem Stela to buffer against Gnoster’s onslaught.

On the other hand, Ironeye and Recluse can quickly get to Animus and Gnoster, ending the fight rapidly, but they can be tricky to maneuver given their dodging limitations.

Duchess excels in this battle, easily evading attacks while having the ability to revive teammates and boost damage output. Her blend of magic and weapon skills makes her a prime asset against both bosses.

    Sentient Pest’s New Moveset

The Sentient Pest brings a fresh array of attacks to the battlefield. It’s essential to familiarize yourself with these moves:

    • Rising Phoenix: Animus rises from defeated foes, healing them momentarily.
    • Possession: Animus takes over a fallen ally’s body, restoring their health and increasing their power.
    • Red Pillars of Light: A massive attack indicated by red lights, causing widespread damage.

Bosses, once incapacitated, will remain down until they’re freed from Animus’s grasp. The fight extends until Animus’s health bar is exhausted; once he’s defeated, all other bosses on the field fall as well.

How to Defeat Everdark Sovereign: Sentient Pest

    1. Focus on Fire, Piercing, and Strike damage, as they are effective against the Sentient Pest.
    2. Plan Your Attacks: Strike during Animus’s possession moments when he is vulnerable and slows down.
    3. Distract and Damage: Have one teammate distract Faurtis while the others focus on Gnoster or Animus.
    4. Timing is Key: Aim to deal heavy damage during animus’s ultimate moments when the bosses are incapacitated.

Eventually, with patience and precise coordination, you will overcome the Sentient Pest. Upon your first victory, you’ll receive 25 Sovereign Sigils as a reward, along with the opportunity to purchase a new relic that enhances your capabilities.

  • Conquering Black Knight Edredd: A Winning Strategy in Elden Ring

Conquering Black Knight Edredd: A Winning Strategy in Elden Ring

Black Knight Edredd is a powerful field boss in Elden Ring, located at the Fort of Reprimand. As part of Messmer’s elite forces, this knight is bound to serve Queen Marika through battle and bloodshed.

Within the Shadow of the Erdtree, Black Knights pose a serious challenge, and Edredd is no exception. In this guide, we’ll help you locate him and outline effective strategies to defeat him with ease.

Where to Find Black Knight Edredd in Elden Ring

You can find Black Knight Edredd at the far end of the Fort of Reprimand in Elden Ring. The fort is situated on Scadu Altus, just south of the Highland Cross site of grace.

There’s a similar boss known as Black Knight Garrew, located inside Fog Rift Fort, ready for battle.

To reach Black Knight Edredd, make your way to the rooftops of the Fort of Reprimand, where you’ll find a small room housing him. The fort is filled with Omenkiller enemies and others who wield fiery attacks.

Black Knight Edredd’s Stats and Weaknesses

Black Knight Edredd boasts 9,792 HP in Elden Ring. If you encounter the Golden Eyed variant of Edredd, however, expect a significant increase in HP.

This boss has 123 Defense and 65 Stance. You can achieve critical hits by parrying his strikes or breaking his stance.

Edredd is vulnerable to Lightning, Poison, Scarlet Rot, and Sleep, but he is immune to Madness. While he has a strong defense against Slash attacks, using Pierce attacks can deal considerable damage.

Optimal Build for Black Knight Edredd

As a highly agile boss, Black Knight Edredd employs swift Physical attacks with his Twinblades, punishing any openings in your defense.

To maximize your chances, we suggest utilizing a Backhand Blade with Lightning Grease, or a Sorcerer build featuring Ancient Dragon incantations.

Prioritize Dexterity for the first build and invest in Faith for the second. Consider equipping a Gravel Stone Seal to enhance your dragon incantations for massive Lightning damage.

Using the Deflecting Hardtear will help you avoid damage, especially since we won’t focus on shield use during this encounter. Balance your Flasks between healing and FP.

For talismans, make sure to prioritize Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent’s Prosthesis, and Flock’s Canvas Talisman.

Effective Strategy to Defeat Black Knight Edredd

As a lower-level Crucible Knight, Black Knight Edredd employs winged attacks. One of his primary moves is a Slash Attack, where he swings his Twinblades in a wide arc.

This move can be dodged by rolling sideways, giving you a good opportunity to strike back.

Another attack is a jump slam, where Edredd leaps high and crashes down with his weapon. Timely dodging to the side when he’s above you will help avoid damage.

He can also unleash a dangerous 6-hit combo of blade attacks. This sequence can be tough to block, but it’s best to dive towards him during the first strike and then evade to the left.

This tactic allows you to avoid most of his strikes while giving you a chance to retaliate.

The final and most threatening attack sees Black Knight Edredd summon golden crucible wings and charge at players while swinging his twinblade. That attack is often followed by additional strikes, so keep your distance.

Once you’ve learned to avoid his moves, you’ll find that whittling down his health becomes manageable and the fight will conclude faster than expected.

Drops and Rewards from Black Knight Edredd

Upon defeating Black Knight Edredd, you’ll receive 80,000 Runes (or 400,000 Runes if you’re facing the Golden Eyed variant) along with the Aspects of the Crucible: Wings ash of war.

How to Reach Rabbath’s Rise in Elden Ring

To find Rabbath’s Rise in Elden Ring, navigate to the eastern part of Scadu Altus. Start at Bonny Village and head east.

Cross two bridges and then turn northeast. The path leading to Rabbath’s Rise is directly opposite the route that takes you to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr.

Getting to Rabbath’s Rise is fairly straightforward, as the way is unobstructed, allowing you to follow the trail with ease. The tall structure is visible from a distance. However, the challenge arises when you attempt to reach the top of the building. Let us assist you with that!

How to Activate the Elevator in Rabbath’s Tower

When you enter Rabbath’s Tower, you’ll only be able to access the second floor since the elevator is stuck on the third floor and cannot be summoned down.

Once on the second floor, strike the wall featuring two arches; this is an illusory wall. Smash the rocks behind it to reveal the Spiritspring Jump. Step outside and ride Torrent to the Spiritspring.

Take a leap to reach the third floor of Rabbath’s Rise. Here, you’ll find Rabbath’s Cannon and be able to activate the elevator. This allows you to ascend to the third level of Rabbath’s Rise in Elden Ring.

How to Find Anna’s Ashes in Rabbath’s Rise

After you’ve completed Count Ymir and Jolan’s quest, offer Jolan the Iris of Grace to receive the Swordhand of Night Jolan ashes. You can then transform this spirit ash to obtain Jolan and Anna ashes by following the outlined steps.

Head to the Hinterlands. To access this area, first, you need to obtain the O Mother Gesture from Bonny Village. Once you have this gesture, follow the path through the Church District to arrive at the Back Gate of Shadow Keep.

Use the O Mother Gesture in front of Marika’s Statue to unlock the way to the Hinterlands. After reaching the Hinterlands site of grace, head southeast until you find the edge of a cliff directly above Rabbath’s Rise.

Carefully drop down to the balcony below and interact with the puppet of Swordhand of Night Anna. Interacting here will give you the option to convert the Swordhand of Night Jolan ashes into Jolan and Anna ashes.

You can interact with the puppet again to revert the ashes back to their initial form.

From that point, you can jump down further to collect the Spellmachinist’s Bell Bearings. These bell bearings can be exchanged with the Twin Maiden Husk at the Roundtable Hold for the Rabbath’s Greatbolt.

At the end of the Gaping Jaw, players were introduced to the Darkdrift Knight in Elden Ring Nightreign as the second official Everdark Sovereign. With just a week to challenge him, gamers worldwide are gearing up to take down this formidable centaur. Unfortunately, much like the Gaping Jaw’s Everdark form, Everdark Fulghor is a serious adversary.

This tank-like threat can unleash what feels like nuclear attacks from his divine bow at random. The battle is explosive, with players often finding themselves pushed to the edges of the arena, flames raging behind them. To survive the Darkdrift Knight and earn his one-of-a-kind prize, having a solid strategy is essential.

How to Gear Up for the Everdark Sovereign: Darkdrift Knight

Before you step into this challenging battle, here are some important preparations:

    1. Familiarize Yourself with Phase Two: Review strategies for facing the Darkdrift Knight from our comprehensive guide.
    2. Build Your Relics: Aim to have at least two, ideally three, grand relics in your inventory.
    3. Acquire Lightning Damage: Plan how to incorporate Lightning damage, whether through relics or by identifying key locations to visit.
    4. Prioritize Damage Negation: Focus on mitigating Holy and Physical damage as part of your attack strategy.
    5. Utilize Sovereign Sigils: Consider converting the map to Shifting Earth: Noklateo for an advantageous team revival.

This encounter is tough, and while you can tackle it solo, we highly recommend formulating a team of three.

For casters like Recluse and Revenant, the most reliable ways to acquire seals with Lightning damage are usually found in the basements of derelict cathedrals.

    Recommended Characters

While many recommendations stand for the Darkdrift Knight, the increase in health and damage, along with the knight’s mobility, necessitate some revised strategies. Fragile characters may find this battle daunting without adept gameplay, as they can easily be taken down in just a few hits. However, these characters excel in dealing damage.

Consequently, an ideal team configuration for this fight would consist of:

    • Two frontline fighters
    • One ranged support

Spellcasters should be judicious in choosing their spells, as Fulghor’s constant movement can make targeting difficult. Opt for spells that track or cover a large area.

    Recommended Combatants Overview

    • Recluse and Revenant: These two range supports excel at burning through the boss’s HP. At least one is crucial for ending the fight faster. However, both struggle with stamina for dodging and taking hits. Revenant benefits from her summons and revival Art, but managing FP during a lengthy battle can be challenging without enough starlight shards. Recluse has a slight edge, capable of using Lightning for powerful Magic Cocktails and boasting better HP.

    • Wylder: Possibly the best choice for this fight, Wylder can dish out damage and sustain hits. He’s great for applying Fire to enhance Recluse’s cocktails and can effectively maneuver around Fulghor.

    • Guardian and Executor: These two fulfill pivotal tank roles. Guardian absorbs hits well but is more defensive, while Executor offers better damage dealt with his parry abilities. Use Guardian for teams focused on defense and Executor for a more aggressive approach.

Characters like Ironeye and Duchess may struggle. Duchess excels at dodging and early status effects but falters in later phases, becoming more of a support role for reviving teammates. Ironeye can stagger foes and inflict Poison at range but also has issues with endurance and damage output.

Everdark Sovereign: Darkdrift Knight’s Updated Move Set

    • Dramatic Introduction: This move launches Fulghor into the arena, creating a shockwave, and should be approached cautiously by sidestepping or holding back.

    • Phase Transition: At about 60-70% health, Fulghor rises into the air, revealing an opening for ranged attacks before unleashing Gold From Above arrows.

    • Gold From Above: Fulghor shoots arrows that rain down and can quickly add up damage. Stay nimble, as dodging sideways or back can help get around these projectiles.

    • Fulghor’s Assault: This combination attack can hit multiple characters, requiring quick backstepping and strategic dodging.

    • Tactical Arrow Nuke: Possibly his most dangerous move, evade by sprinting underneath him to reach safety on the other side.

Tips for Defeating Everdark Sovereign: Darkdrift Knight

    • Weaknesses: Lightning damage is particularly effective against him, while he shows strong resistance to Madness.

    • Resource Management: Save items like Boiled Crab or Boiled Prawn for the more challenging third phase rather than wasting them early on.

    • Attack Timing: Take advantage of post-attack openings after his biggest moves, such as Rushing Nightglow or Tactical Arrow Nuke.

    • General Advice:
      • Prioritize survival over aggressive revives; focus on the boss if team members go down.
      • Avoid rushing; patience is key.
      • Use Frostbite to speed up damage without risking dangerous encounters.

As a reward for defeating Darkdrift Knight, you will earn 25 Sovereign Sigils and unlock a unique relic from the Collector Signboard vendor which boosts maximum stamina, increases attack power for particular affinity attacks, and enhances your Art gauge’s recharge rate when defeating enemies.
