Earlier this year, Apple unveiled the iPhone 16, and the much-anticipated devices officially launched on September 20 in over 50 nations, including the United States, Canada, and Japan. This Friday, Apple is set to expand availability by introducing the iPhone 16 to 21 additional countries.

iPhone 16 Expands to New Countries

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 commenced on September 13 in markets like the United States, Canada, Australia, China, France, India, Japan, Mexico, and the UK. The official release took place on September 20, coinciding with the opening of pre-orders in over 20 more countries. Today, these nations will also welcome the latest iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro to retail stores.

The newly added countries include Brazil, Georgia, Macao, and Vietnam, among others. Pricing will vary across different regions. Alongside the new iPhones, Apple is launching a range of accessories in these markets as well.

Exploring the New iPhones

A standout feature of the iPhone 16 series is the innovative Camera Control, a touch-sensitive button designed to enhance users’ camera experience by allowing seamless switching between lenses and zoom adjustments. The devices are powered by the advanced A18 chip, which significantly boosts performance and enables enhanced Apple Intelligence functionalities. In the Pro models, Apple has also increased both the screen dimensions and battery lifespan.

In the United States, the iPhone 16 is priced starting at $799, while the iPhone 16 Pro begins at $999.
