Withings Unveils The Most Stylish Smartwatch Yet
Withings continues to prioritize elegance in its ScanWatch lineup, and their latest introduction, the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant, is a testament to their prowess in watch design. This new model couples advanced technology found in the existing ScanWatch 2 and the Nova with an appealing aesthetic, making it ideal for those who seek the functionalities of a smartwatch without the overtly technical appearance.

The casing is crafted from stainless steel and measures 39mm, a universally appealing size that suits a variety of wrist dimensions. Available in two finishes—classic silver and a distinctive bicolor silver and gold—the silver variant features a titanium bezel. Both options boast a refined fluted edge, providing a more sophisticated look compared to the sporty diver-style of the Nova.

The dial and small display are protected by a sapphire crystal, featuring a unique box shape that gives it a slight elevation above the bezel. Each model is paired with a stylish five-link bracelet, reminiscent of the Jubilee style made iconic by Rolex, which enhances comfort and weightlessness on the wrist. Additionally, the package includes a rubber strap, allowing for easy switching to a more practical option for exercise or casual wear.

The specifications closely mirror those of the ScanWatch 2, featuring capabilities to monitor heart rate, ECG, blood oxygen levels, and body temperature. It also tracks sleep patterns, menstrual cycles, and various exercises. The 0.63-inch OLED screen displays important health data and notifications, and the impressive battery life can last up to 30 days, depending on active features. The companion app is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Alongside the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant, Withings has introduced a new service called Cardio Check-Up, starting in the U.K., Germany, and France. This feature offers a rapid, clinical assessment of heart health, conducted by licensed cardiologists based on data from the ScanWatch, with results delivered within 24 hours. Users can avail themselves of up to four assessments annually, and this service will be incorporated into the Withings+ subscription model, with plans to expand to the U.S. later on.

The Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant is set to launch in November 2024 at a price of $600.
