Samsung has been keeping everyone on their toes regarding its upcoming ultra-slim smartphone, initially unveiled during the Unpacked event this past January. Since that showcase, numerous leaks have surfaced, providing a wealth of information—albeit mostly unofficial—about the Galaxy S25 Edge. Originally slated for a mid-April launch, the release date has shifted forward, with the latest speculation indicating a May 13 unveiling in South Korea. Just a day after this news broke, we discovered the official pricing and storage choices for the Galaxy S25 Edge, which came directly from Samsung.
Samsung’s Canadian website momentarily displayed the pricing for the 256GB and 512GB versions of the Galaxy S25 Edge as part of a promotional effort for the recently released Galaxy S10FE tablets. A screenshot captured by well-known leaker Roland Quandt revealed what might be the official retail price for the sleek smartphone. Quandt shared the image on Bluesky, a new social networking platform designed to echo the earlier spirit of Twitter before its rebranding to X by Elon Musk.

The screenshot reveals that the Galaxy S25 Edge’s 256GB variant is priced at $1,678.99, while the 512GB model is set at $1,858.99. These numbers seem exorbitant, but they likely reflect Canadian currency rather than U.S. dollars. Assuming this is accurate, the conversions amount to approximately $1,209 and $1,339 USD, based on current exchange rates.
Even at these prices, the Galaxy S25 Edge is decidedly a premium offering, positioned below the Galaxy S25 Ultra and above the S25 Plus. This pricing isn’t entirely unforeseen, given past whispers that hinted at steep costs.
However, the Galaxy S25 Edge isn’t just a standard addition to the Galaxy S25 lineup; its design features a lightweight, slender profile that is complemented by a premium ceramic back and a durable titanium frame. Despite its slim form, the device is expected to pack a powerful overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset—the same processor used across the entire Galaxy S25 series. Moreover, it will sport a 200MP main camera, matching the capabilities found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
In an interesting contrast to the recently launched OnePlus 13T—which boasts a large 6,260mAh battery—the Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to include a more modest 4,000mAh battery. Additional details about this smartphone are expected to emerge in the coming weeks as we approach the rumored launch at the end of May.
