Samsung encountered several bumps while launching its eagerly awaited One UI 7 update. After facing numerous delays, the company commenced the rollout for select flagship models but paused it abruptly due to unspecified issues. Fortunately, the update is now back underway.
According to updates tracker Tarun Vats, the stable One UI 7 update is now being delivered to Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy S24 users in various regions throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
Digital Trends has noticed a surge of activity on Reddit and the Samsung Community, where users are sharing their experiences of finally receiving the One UI 7 update on their Galaxy S24 series phones and the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

What’s new in One UI 7?
The One UI 7 update brings a host of fresh design elements, enhanced widgets, and the Now Bar to provide users with real-time updates. It also includes a range of AI features such as on-screen content sensitivity. New additions also encompass Writing Assist, an audio eraser, and advanced search functionalities within the Settings app.

The update also enhances the camera features that were initially introduced with the Galaxy S25 series. There are layout modifications to the camera app that simplify access to tools such as aspect ratio, megapixel format, exposure settings, and filters.
In regard to filters, One UI 7 incorporates a two-tier adjustment system, allowing users to create custom filters. This is facilitated by AI, which extracts unique color elements from a saved photo and generates a filter that aligns with its color profile.
Additionally, users can now edit RAW images directly on their devices and record LOG videos. A new Shooting Assistance Function enables easier access to professional-grade features like zebra pattern and false color adjustments.
