Samsung is launching the One UI 7 Beta update for its newest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Numerous users have shared on X and Samsung’s community forum that they have received enrollment messages for the beta on their eligible devices.
Recently, Samsung announced that the One UI 7 beta testing for these latest foldable devices would begin for users in India, Korea, the U.S., and the U.K. According to reports from users on the Samsung forum, individuals with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in the U.S. have begun obtaining the update.

It appears that unlocked devices are the first to receive the update, with confirmed reports from users on T-Mobile, Verizon, and Cricket. If you possess one of these foldables, check the Samsung Members app for a banner promoting the beta program.
Select the banner to enroll your device, then navigate to the Software section within the Settings app to check for updates.

This latest beta marks a transition to Android 15 for these devices, introducing a variety of new features, including a revamped Home Screen, call transcripts, an enhanced security dashboard, the Now Bar, and more. The Writing Assist toolkit offers functionality such as text summarization, proofreading, and formatting options.

Beyond the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, Samsung plans to roll out the One UI 7 Beta update to the Galaxy S23 series and the mid-range Galaxy A55 smartphone later this week.
In addition, this Android 15-based experience will soon extend to Samsung’s tablets, starting with the Galaxy Tab S10 series later this month. Samsung has stated that the stable version of One UI 7 for compatible smartphones will be available in April.

Samsung has committed to updating its flagship devices, including the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the upcoming months. Additionally, other models from the Galaxy A, Galaxy M, and budget Galaxy F series are lined up for this software upgrade; however, an official timeline for these older devices is yet to be revealed.
