It seems we’ve stumbled upon another surprise leak – this time featuring the Pixel 9a, which made a brief appearance in a video shared on YouTube. Although the primary focus of the video was the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, the Pixel 9a made a fleeting cameo for a few seconds. The clip was uploaded by YouTuber Alexis Garza, who is more commonly known as @technologiaconalexis, but it has since been taken down—though, in the Internet age, nothing ever truly disappears.
Observant fans managed to capture screenshots from the YouTube short before its removal. While the lighting and resolution were less than ideal, the images clearly depict the highly anticipated device. The cutout for the flash appears larger than usual, while the camera itself seems quite small in comparison.
This sneak peek aligns closely with earlier renders and the leaks reported by various sources. It also corresponds with the extensive information that surfaced just days ago from WinFuture. As is the case with any leaks, everything remains unofficial until the device officially launches, but a significant design change at this stage would be surprising.

The Google Pixel 9a is projected to be powered by a Google Tensor G4 processor, feature 8GB of RAM, and offer two storage options: 128GB or 256GB. Additionally, the smartphone is anticipated to house a 5,100mAh battery, with capabilities for both wired and wireless charging. While the Pixel 9a may not boast the same level of hardware performance as the main Pixel 9 series, it is expected to be more budget-friendly.
Garza’s YouTube clip didn’t unveil anything particularly new about the upcoming smartphone, yet the leak’s unexpected nature is quite entertaining, especially considering that this isn’t the first instance of a Pixel making an unanticipated appearance. Back in 2018, the Pixel 3 XL was left behind in a rideshare vehicle and was later spotted again on the subway. This is just another chapter in a quirky history of unusual locations where these devices have been discovered.
