While OnePlus has not specified the screen size, they did mention that the device will be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, a product unveiled by Corning in mid-2024. This durable glass will also cover the back of the OnePlus 13R, which will be encased in an aluminum frame. Availability will include two color options: Nebular Noir and Astral Trail, with the phone measuring 8mm thick. In contrast to its predecessor, the OnePlus 12R, the 13R will sport a flat display.
Details about the camera setup remain undisclosed, but it’s known to incorporate two modes, named Action Mode and Clear Burst, aimed at enhancing motion capture. Pricing has also been left in the dark, but fans are hopeful that it will mirror the impressive value found in the OnePlus 12R.
In the United Kingdom, OnePlus is promoting the OnePlus 13R with a “pre-pay” offer. Customers can secure a £50 (approximately $63) down payment on the phone before December 23, which will result in an extra £50 discount upon its release, along with an undisclosed special gift valued at £250 (around $318).
