According to a report from MacRumors on Monday, an updated listing for the newly announced M4 iMac on Amazon’s U.S. site included a section titled “Which Mac is right for you?”
The comparison chart displayed in the listing—likely created by Apple—featured the two-port M4 iMac, the four-port M4 iMac, an older M2 Mac Studio, and the freshly revealed M4 Mac mini. This chart has since been taken down by Amazon.
A small image of the new Mac mini indicates that the device will likely feature two USB-C ports on the front for the first time. MacRumors suggests these ports might also support Thunderbolt 4, but official confirmation is expected during Apple’s upcoming reveal.
The specifications listed for the updated Mac mini suggest it will be available with both M4 and M4 Pro chip options, featuring a maximum of 14 CPU cores and 20 GPU cores.
According to the chart, buyers will have the option to configure the device with up to 64GB of RAM—double the current maximum—and storage capacity reaching 8TB, consistent with the existing model. Additionally, it appears that the M4 Mac mini will continue to be offered only in silver.
This week, Apple is rolling out updates to its PCs and laptops, starting with the debut of an iMac desktop equipped with the M4 chip and available in new colors. The company is also launching its first AI-powered features under the Apple Intelligence brand for compatible devices. Stay tuned for more updates as details continue to emerge throughout the week.
