In the words of Elton John, “The B—- is back!”
Two years after the original film, M3GAN returns in M3GAN 2.0. Having already taken down countless victims, M3GAN has been deactivated. Her creator, Gemma (Allison Williams), is now an author who continues to care for her niece, Cady (Violet McGraw), who has transformed into a rebellious teenager. While Gemma is unaware, a defense contractor has stolen the technology behind M3GAN to develop a new creation named Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), a military-grade weapon and lethal spy.
Like her predecessor, Amelia becomes so formidable that she refuses to obey commands. With an AI weapon now on the loose, humanity’s only chance for survival rests with the resurrected M3GAN. Gemma and her team manage to bring M3GAN (performed by Amie Donald and voiced by Jenna Davis) back to life, enhancing her speed, strength, and abilities. The film builds to an electrifying confrontation between the newly upgraded M3GAN and Amelia, set to the iconic Britney Spears track Oops!… I Did It Again.
“Hold on to your vaginas,” M3GAN quips in the trailer before unleashing chaos.

Returning to the cast are Brian Jordan Alvarez as Cole and Jen Van Epps as Tess. M3GAN 2.0 also features Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp, and Jemaine Clement.
Gerard Johnstone and Akela Cooper are back at the helm as director and writer for M3GAN 2.0, with Johnstone also contributing to the screenplay. The film is produced by horror heavyweights Jason Blum of Blumhouse and James Wan of Atomic Monster, along with Allison Williams.
The original M3GAN took the pop culture world by storm upon its release in January 2023. With its quirky tone and eye-catching marketing efforts, the film grossed an impressive $181 million globally against a modest budget of $12 million.
M3GAN 2.0 is set to hit theaters on June 27, 2025.
