LUXEMBOURG–(BUSINESS WIRE)– KT Corporation, LG Electronics Inc., and Vodafone Group Services Limited have recently joined Sisvel’s Cellular IoT patent pool, reinforcing its position as the go-to licensing resource for manufacturers of cellular IoT devices.
With these new members, over half of all SEPs related to NB-IoT and LTE-M are now accessible through a single licensing agreement with Sisvel. This initiative allows implementers to obtain access to 34 different patent portfolios in a streamlined transaction, starting at a mere US$0.08 per device.
The Sisvel Cellular IoT program encompasses a wide array of patent owners within the telecom and IoT sectors. This diverse group includes mobile infrastructure suppliers, product and component manufacturers, as well as network operators, all united by a shared commitment to driving the advancement of cellular IoT across various industries.
