iRobot, a leading name in robot vacuum technology, is set to expand its offerings significantly. On March 18, the company will launch several new models, each priced under $1,000. This makes them more accessible compared to premium models like the Roomba Combo 10 Max or the Roborock Saros 10R, which both retail around $1,500. This launch marks the largest in iRobot’s history, introducing eight new products aimed at various budget segments.
The top-tier model is the Roomba Plus 505 Combo Robot with an AutoWash Dock. Priced at $999, it boasts dual mopping pads capable of swiveling outward, suction that is 70 times stronger than the Roomba 600 series, and an advanced LiDAR navigation system for efficient cleaning both day and night.
Notably, this model offers impressive automation features, including a dock that can self-empty for up to 75 days and cleanse mop pads for up to four weeks. It intelligently adjusts cleaning settings based on the detected dirt levels, aiming for a user-friendly experience. While it may not introduce groundbreaking new technology, the goal is to deliver substantial performance at a more competitive price.

Additionally, the Roomba Plus 405 Combo Robot with AutoWash Dock will be available for $800. It sacrifices a few features, such as the swinging mopping pad, but remains a powerful option for those who seek a capable device for both vacuuming and mopping, all while being mindful of their budget.
The remaining models in the new lineup are all priced below $500, perfect for cost-conscious consumers who don’t require the high-end features of the 505 and 405. Here’s an overview of the complete lineup and their prices:
