According to a blog post by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is planning to hold its autumn product launch event on Monday, September 9.
Gurman, citing sources familiar with the matter, mentioned that while the specific date has been officially confirmed, Apple is gearing up for this timeline. Following the event, the new iPhone is expected to be officially released on September 9, aligning with Apple’s usual schedule.
A leaked photo, allegedly an invitation for the event, circulated online with the slogan “Ready. Set. Capture,” claiming the press conference would be held on September 9. Although the photo was proven to be fake, the date it suggested matched Gurman’s report.
The Apple Watch Series 10 is rumored to feature thinner models with larger screens. The new watches are expected to start at $399 and come in two sizes.
Apple is also planning updates to its AirPods lineup, introducing new mid-range and entry-level models. This will mark the first time Apple offers active noise cancellation (ANC) on mid-range AirPods, while the entry-level version will see its first update since 2019.
Additionally, Apple plans to transition its Macs to the M4 processor later this year, though Mac updates typically follow about a month after the iPhone event.
