Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei is certainly a big fan of Apple devices. Zhengfei’s company Huawei is competing with Apple Inc. which is the rival of Huawei, but in recent news, Ren Zhengfei was seen carrying an Apple iPad.
In the photo that has been going viral on Chinese social media which shows an airport security officer is busy inspecting Ren Zhengfei’s Apple iPad. It is indeed noticing that Huawei has its line of tablets which is called MediaPads that runs the Android operating system.
As per SCMP, Ren Zhengfei has also told the world publically to his family love towards Apple products. “My kids prefer Apple devices over Huawei”, Ren Zhengfei told.
After being asked, “Do they not love Huawei products?”. Ren replied, “Of course Not.”. He further added that the iPhone has a better ecosystem and my family travels abroad, they prefer to use Apple phones to escape any hassle they can face while carrying a Chinese smartphone. He also added that he buys his kids Apple products whenever they travel abroad but when they’re in their homeland, they use Huawei products.
When Huawei’s CFO, Meng Wanzhou, daughter of Zhengfei was arrested in Canada back in 2018, she was carrying an Apple iPad, MacBook, and iPhone.
Ren Zhengfei also told Bloomberg that Apple is the world’s leading smartphone manufacturing company. He also said that if there was no apple, there would be no Internet, no one would be able to capture beautiful moments. He also called Apple as his teacher and also said as a student why should I oppose the teacher?
But in the past year, two Huawei employees were demoted from tweeting from iPhone as their salaries were also cut down due to this act.
