Hongmeng Powered SUV Zhijie R7 Launched in China

According to a report by Fast Technology on August 26, Hongmeng Zhixing held a product launch event this afternoon, unveiling the new M7 Pro and Zhijie R7 models.

Yu Chengdong introduced the Zhijie R7 as the second model co-developed by Huawei and Chery, and the first coupe SUV under the Hongmeng Zhixing brand.

Pre-orders for the Zhijie R7 are now open and can be made through the Hongmeng Intelligent Driving app, mini program, or Huawei Mall. The car will also be showcased at the Chengdu International Auto Show.

The “R” in Zhijie R7 stands for “Revolution,” symbolizing “breakthrough and subversion.” The vehicle will be available in both single and dual motor versions.

The Zhijie R7 measures 4956mm in length, 1981mm in width, 1634mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2950mm. It is categorized as a mid-to-large coupe SUV, with second-row seats that can fold flat.

Yu Chengdong mentioned that while the Zhijie R7’s exterior dimensions are similar to those of the Model Y, its interior space rivals that of the Model X, but it comes at a significantly lower price point.

Additionally, the Zhijie R7 is set to become the world’s mass-produced SUV with the lowest wind resistance. Official wind resistance data will be revealed at the press conference.

The vehicle features an 800V high-voltage SiC drive motor and an 800V fast-charging system, offering a maximum range of 802km. The entire vehicle marks the beginning of the dual 800V era.

In terms of chassis, the Zhijie R7 comes standard with a full Turing chassis, CDC continuous damping shock absorbers, and air suspension across all models.

The new SUV is also equipped with ADS3.0, an end-to-end humanoid intelligent driving system that can be used nationwide. Yu Chengdong described it as a groundbreaking and leading-edge autonomous driving system.

Price

According to leaked information, the Zhijie R7 is expected to be priced between 300,000 and 400,000 yuan, with a launch anticipated in the third quarter.
