The GT502 Horizon mirrors the dual-chamber approach of the O11 series. This layout positions essential components like the motherboard, CPU, and GPU in the front, while the PSU, storage, and cooling are neatly organized in the rear chamber, enhancing both airflow and cable management.
While the GT502 Horizon isn’t an entirely new design, it refreshes the original GT502 mid-tower by removing the front pillar that used to separate the glass panels. This change allows for an unobstructed view of the system from the front and side, offering a clean, sleek look at your setup.
To maintain stability without the front pillar, Asus reinforced the case, allowing it to hold up to 66 pounds of weight. Like the earlier model, the GT502 Horizon also features strong fabric handles, making it easy to carry.
This case will come in two colors: Classic Black and Snowy White, with matching modular cables to keep the aesthetic unified. For those who love RGB lighting, Asus offers an optional ARGB kit with L-shaped magnetic light bars that fit on the top and bottom of the front chamber. These bars fully integrate with Asus’ Aura Sync ecosystem for synchronized RGB lighting effects, adding a vibrant touch to the setup.
The GT502 Horizon’s dual-chamber design offers plenty of room for cooling, with support for up to 13 fans. Fan racks are available at the top, bottom, side, and rear chambers, each accommodating three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans, with radiator support for liquid cooling enthusiasts. The rear rack can also hold up to three HDDs or SSDs.
The case is designed for optimal airflow, with mesh panels on the top, bottom, and right sides. These panels ensure proper ventilation across three distinct zones dedicated to the PSU, drive bays, and rear fan rack.
GT502 Horizon supports full-size ATX motherboards, GPUs up to 400mm, CPU coolers up to 163mm in height, and PSUs up to 200mm in length. For storage needs, there are four drive bays, compatible with both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives.
The front I/O panel is equipped with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, an audio combo jack, and an LED control button for quick lighting adjustments. While pricing is yet to be confirmed, it’s expected to range between $150 and $200.
