Ana de Armas gears up for an intense showdown in the teaser for Ballerina, the anticipated spinoff from the John Wick series.
“Eve Macarro, what brings you here?” Ian McShane’s Winston Scott inquires as Eve (de Armas) steps into the Continental Hotel. “I’d like to go hunting,” she asserts, brandishing a weapon and readying herself for action.
The latest clips showcase a series of thrilling fight sequences and intense shootouts. However, the standout moment occurs near the end when Eve engages in a conversation with Keanu Reeves’ John Wick. In this pivotal scene, John attempts to convince Eve to abandon her life as an assassin and pursue a different path.
“Why didn’t you leave?” Eve presses John, to which he replies, “I’m working on it,” just before the footage shifts to the iconic hitman preparing his firearm for combat.
Returning to reprise their roles from prior Wick films are Anjelica Huston as the Director and the late Lance Reddick as Charon. The cast also features Catalina Sandino Moreno and Norman Reedus.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten, unfolds during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, as Eve embarks on her training with the Ruska Roma and seeks vengeance for her father’s murder.
Producers include John Wick’s Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski. An October report revealed that Stahelski had to reshoot a “significant portion” of Ballerina after Lionsgate expressed dissatisfaction with Wiseman’s initial cut. Stahelski, who helmed all four John Wick films, was initially brought in to create new action scenes for the spinoff.
