If you want to upgrade your HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15‑eg2000 RCTO to 32GB of RAM, here’s a simple guide to help you out.

First, check the current memory setup. Your laptop comes with two 8GB RAM modules, so you’re looking to replace these with larger ones. To get a total of 32GB, you’ll need to install two 16GB RAM sticks.

Next, compare the specifications of your current RAM modules with those of the new ones. Most importantly, make sure the new RAM is compatible with your laptop. Look for DDR4 RAM modules, and double-check the speed and voltage to match the existing modules for smooth operation.

Once you’ve confirmed compatibility, you can purchase suitable RAM sticks. Reliable brands include Corsair, Kingston, Crucial, and G.Skill. For convenience, check out reputable online stores like Amazon or Newegg, where you can find specific modules recommended for your laptop.

To install the new RAM, turn off your laptop and unplug it from power. Remove the bottom cover by unscrewing the screws, which usually requires a small Phillips-head screwdriver. Carefully locate the RAM slots and release the clips holding the existing modules in place. Remove the old RAM sticks gently and slot in the new 16GB modules at an angle, then press down until the clips snap into place.

After installing the new RAM, put the bottom cover back on, screw it in, and power on your laptop. To verify the upgrade, go to your system settings to check the total installed memory. If everything was done correctly, your laptop should now recognize the full 32GB of RAM.

This process is straightforward, but if you’re uncomfortable doing it yourself, visiting a professional technician is a good idea. Happy upgrading!
