Matches are designed to be quick, typically lasting no longer than two and a half minutes, where a single mistake can lead to elimination. Fans are eager to experiment with the diverse roster of characters and strategically use their cards, but the full launch date is still a ways off. However, you can get a sneak peek with the upcoming closed beta test—be sure to sign up for your chance to participate.

Signing Up for the FragPunk Beta on Xbox

Please note, simply signing up for the beta doesn’t guarantee access, as participation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner you register, the better your chances!

Step 1: Start your console and navigate to the Xbox Insider Hub.

Step 2: Go to Previews > FragPunk

Step 3: Click on Join.

After completing your registration, you’ll need to await confirmation to determine if you secured a spot.

Signing Up for the FragPunk Beta on PC

Steam users are also invited to join in the fun. Here’s how to enroll for the beta on PC:

Step 1: Launch Steam and head over to the FragPunk store page.

Step 2: Scroll down and select Request Access beneath the Join the FragPunk Playtest banner.

If chosen to participate, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Steam regarding your inclusion. The beta for FragPunk kicks off at 3 p.m. PT on October 10 and wraps up at 4:59 p.m. PT on October 21. Preloading will commence on October 8, so don’t miss the chance to start as soon as the beta launches. Additionally, crossplay functionality will be available for seamless matchmaking between Xbox and PC players.
