Segway is often recognized for its innovative two-wheeled personal transporters that provide a faster alternative to walking. However, the company is also venturing into the realm of robotic lawn care. After launching the H Series in 2022 and the I Series in 2024, Segway unveiled its latest addition, the X3 Series, in 2025. This new range is aimed at catering to larger lawns and commercial spaces.
The X3 Series comprises four models—X315, X330, X350, and X390—capable of managing lawn areas up to 10,000 square meters. To put this in practical terms, that’s roughly equivalent to one and a half football fields. These models feature rapid charging capabilities, allowing them to care for 500 square meters with just 30 minutes of charging. Over the span of 24 hours, they can cover an impressive 5,000 square meters.
In terms of performance, the X3 Series introduces six upgraded blades that ensure thorough mowing, while an anti-clogging blade disc prevents grass build-up, improving efficiency during high-speed cutting.
What additional features does the Navimow X3 Series offer?
The X3 Series boasts an enhanced Exact Fusion Location System (EFLS), specifically built on the latest EFLS version 3.0. This system offers three-frequency Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) coverage and enhances Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) along with Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) technology. As a result, these robotic lawn mowers promise improved precision and stability, even in challenging GPS environments.
The X3 Series is also equipped with Advanced VisionFence technology, which enables efficient AI-driven route planning. With three cameras and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor, it boasts a 300-degree field of view for effective obstacle detection. These mowers can identify over 200 types of obstacles, including 13 different animal species such as cats and dogs, allowing them to navigate safely around these hurdles. This technology was demonstrated during the launch of the robots in Paris. They can also detect humans from a distance of three meters and recognize objects like swings and trampolines.
Each model features a dot matrix display on top to relay status updates, theft alerts, and GPS tracking information. Their design, combining orange and gray elements, allows them to tackle slopes up to 50% (27 degrees).
The X3 Series introduces an “Expansion Bay” with an open API, allowing for personalized product enhancements. The first accessory available is a semi-automatic edge trimmer that can be attached to the mower, though its availability may vary by region.

The Navimow X3 Series was first introduced at CES 2025 and is now available through authorized dealers. Users can control their mowers through the Navimow app, which recently received an update to Navimow OS 3 in March. This update introduced six new features, including a child lock that can be activated directly from the app, voice feedback on mower status, an improved Doodle feature, multi-device management, and an enhanced alarm system.
Navimow OS 3 also includes Google Home compatibility for not just the X3 Series but also the H and I Series models. This integration enables the mowers to interact with other smart devices, such as security cameras, allowing for functions like initiating mowing when motion is detected.
