Pokemon Go features Raids that allow Trainers to team up and battle extremely strong and tough Pokemon. Winning a Raid grants you a chance to catch and add that Pokemon to your lineup.
Every month, the Pokemon available in Raids change, typically featuring those that are tougher and found in higher-tiered Raid Battles. November will highlight several Legendary and Mega-Evolved Pokemon in Raids, each available at specific times throughout the month. This guide will be updated each month, so be sure to check back for the most current details on Pokemon Go Raiding.

Elite Raids
Elite Raids require you and other Trainers to battle a powerful Raid Pokemon, which is tougher than any other Raid tier in the game.
These Raids also differ in that they must be done in person, meaning Remote Raid Passes cannot be used.
You will need to work together with other Trainers locally, as solo attempts for Elite Raids will not be successful.
As for November 2024, no Elite Raid Days have been announced yet. However, new Elite Raid Days can be added at any time, so keep an eye on Pokemon Go updates throughout the month.
If an Elite Raid Day is announced for November, you can expect specific Pokemon to appear during that day at designated times.
Keep an eye out for Elite Raid Eggs that will show up in Raids leading up to the Elite Raid Day. This will help you plan your locations.
Raid Hours
Throughout November, Pokemon Go will host several Raid Hours.
These events will run from 6 PM to 7 PM local time and will occur more frequently than in previous months. Each Raid Hour will spotlight a different Five-Star Raid Pokemon, mainly those available in Raids throughout November, including:
- Lugia
- Nihilego
- Tapu Koko
- Origin Forme Dialga
- Origin Forme Palkia
- Zacian
- Zamazenta
- Regieleki
- Regidrago
Similar to previous Raid Hours, during this time, the featured Pokemon will be the only ones available in Raids, and these events will happen more often than usual. Below is the list of the featured Pokemon and their Raid Hour dates.
For the month of November, participating in a Five-Star Raid during a Raid Hour in person will reward you with one Rare Candy XL.

Shadow Raids
Shadow Raids introduce a new feature where you can battle various Shadow Pokemon for a chance to catch them. Like Elite Raids, these can only be done in person, disallowing the use of Remote Raid Passes.
As the battle progresses, the Shadow Pokemon become enraged, boosting their attack and defense stats. You can calm enraged Shadow Pokemon with Purified Gems, bringing their stats back to normal.
For November, you can look forward to encountering Shadow Suicune in Shadow Raids on weekends. Ensure you’re well-prepared for this challenging battle.
