Finding All Jizo Statues in Wakasa in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Searching for the Jizo Statues in the Wakasa region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows can be a bit tricky. These statues are not marked on the map, and you won’t see them unless you ride close by. Fortunately, they are typically located at significant intersections, but sometimes they might be hidden away in less obvious places.
As you explore the environment in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’re likely to discover various collectibles along the way. Many of these items won’t appear on your map, so you’ll need to rely on chance encounters to find them. Collecting these items will grant you experience points, along with other rewards. Each Jizo Statue nets you 50 experience points, and as you continue your journey, you’ll uncover new areas that will also add to your experience.

Total Statues: 10
Wakasa is home to 10 Jizo Statues, and you’ll want to be around level 29 to tackle the enemies in this area. That said, you can still collect the statues earlier on, as most enemies are easy to evade while riding. This is quite different from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, where a single misstep could lead to relentless attacks from bounty hunters.
While navigating the region, you’ll want to use Naoe for locating Jizo Statues. She’s agile and can easily bypass enemies without getting caught. In contrast, Yasuke is slower and lacks the same climbing abilities.
Using Jizo Statues to scout for Synchronization Points is also beneficial, making Naoe the better choice for statue hunting.
Jizo Statue Locations
Onyu Pass Jizo Statue
The first statue I recommend collecting in Wakasa is located near the Onyu Pass Overlook Synchronization Point. This point serves as a great entryway into Wakasa. There’s also a Kakurega nearby, but since the Synchronization Point is so close, it’s best to secure that first.
Shattered Coast Jizo Statue
Next, head west along the road toward the coastline to find the Jizo Statue at Shattered Coast. This statue is situated right across from the Outer Maizurur Kakurega. If you can reach it, do so, as it’s the only fast travel point available in the area.
Tips for Collecting Statues
Utilize the Pathfinding feature by dropping a marker near your player icon. This will help guide you straight to your next objective.
Be aware of roaming enemies in Wakasa that you will either need to face or evade as you collect the statues; however, avoiding encounters is generally manageable.
Additional Jizo Statue Locations

Onyu Pass Jizo Statue #2: Located further north and close to the coast. If you’re up for it, take a detour to grab the Obama Guard Tower Synchronization Point.

Onyu Pass Jizo Statue #3: Continue along the road after passing Kumagawa Juke, which has a Kakurega at it. Cross the bridge to find the statue.

Lake Suigetsu Jizo Statue: To find this one, head north past the Nagahide Estate. You can walk through Hitokoto Shrine, which might be a bit cramped, so walking seems more efficient than riding.

Lake Suigetsu Jizo Statue #2: This statue requires a little more effort to reach. Head southeast toward the Sanjoga Take Overlook Synchronization Point, then move north along the road past an enemy camp.

Lake Suigetsu Jizo Statue #3: Follow the road west to reach this statue. Although fast travel points are limited in this area, you can find the Outer Amiko Kakurega nearby.

Lake Suigetsu Jizo Statue #4: Head directly east from the previous location toward the Hikidan-jo Ruins to find this statue.

Sotomo Gate Jizo Statue: From the last statue, go directly north into Sotomo Gate. Stick close to the riverbank as you navigate, and cross at the bridge for the best route.
- Mount Uchinakao Jizo Statue: Head directly east from the last location to reach this statue, which is the northernmost one in the Wakasa region. Nearby, you can also find a Synchronization Point.
