If you’re having a tough time managing your finances in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, you might want to take advantage of a glitch that allows you to sell your items, such as weapons, at their full value to traders. This method lets you earn money from selling repaired weapons, turning what used to be a loss into a profit. However, as with most glitches, this may not last forever, so make sure to use it while you have the chance.
In Stalker 2, accumulating money can be quite challenging. Coupons are needed for upgrading and repairing your weapons, which many players find frustrating. This is largely due to the fact that selling your weapons typically nets you less than half of their inventory value, while the cost for repairs and upgrades can exceed the weapon’s total value. To help balance this, here’s a glitch that allows you to sell your items for their full price.

Money Glitch for a Fair Trade
Although there’s a separate glitch for unlimited money in Stalker 2, this one provides a more balanced approach to the game’s economy without making you feel like you’re cheating. This glitch could remain unpatched for a while, but that’s not guaranteed. Meanwhile, it can assist you in upgrading and repairing your gear more frequently thanks to the extra funds.
This glitch is relatively straightforward to execute once you know the steps. You’ll notice that the prices fluctuate at different stages of the trade. From what I’ve seen, it works with any trader across the game’s map, allowing you to maximize your item value no matter where you are.
- Begin the trading process.
- Place the items you wish to sell into the appropriate box.
- Right-click on one of the empty boxes to trigger a price change. Check the value box to see its new worth.
- Drag a stack of a different item into the sale box, but do NOT click any other button. Keep the menu open without selecting any options.
- Click the confirm button with your mouse without hitting the F key.
In the final image, you can see that the popup about the item stack remains visible, even after completing the trade.
Some players have skipped step #3 and directly dropped the item stack in. I’ve used this method and it always worked well for me. I prefer it because you get to confirm the price change before adding the item stack.
That should cover everything you need to know. It’s important to note that this glitch only works on PCs because you must have the ability to click the confirm button independently. With this technique, players can feel more confident and will likely be able to repair and upgrade their weapons more often in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
