1. Location.jpg

The Bandit’s Curved Sword, favored by Skeletal Bandits, is a versatile Dexterity weapon featured in Elden Ring. This curved sword stands out as one of the top choices for players navigating through the mid-game, allowing for a seamless experience.

Unfortunately, acquiring this weapon is no easy task, as it drops infrequently from specific foes, boasting a mere 1.5% chance of being obtained per 100 Discovery. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the quickest way to obtain the Bandit’s Curved Sword without any hassle.

Where to Find Bandit’s Curved Sword

You can snag the Bandit’s Curved Sword as a random drop from Skeleton Bandits. Keep in mind, however, that the odds are stacked against you with that 1.5% drop rate.

Your chances of obtaining the sword can be improved by using Silver-Pickled Fowl Feet.

To farm Skeletal Bandits, head to locations near the Church of Pilgrimage and the Hermit Merchant Shack within Limgrave. Alternatively, you can also find these foes in a graveyard close to Summonwater Village in Caelid.

Stats for Bandit’s Curved Sword

To effectively wield the Bandit’s Curved Sword, you’ll need at least 13 Dexterity and 11 Strength. The sword weighs 5, making it compatible with heavier armor setups.

This sword features the unique skill known as Spinning Slash, which can also be swapped out for a different skill by applying an appropriate Ash of War. Additionally, you may enhance this weapon’s effectiveness with elemental greases.

The Bandit’s Curved Sword can be upgraded to a maximum of +25 using Smithing Stones and naturally inflicts 289 Physical damage with standard upgrades. It has a scaling rank of (D) in both Strength and Dexterity.

Optimal Builds for Bandit’s Curved Sword

While its stats make the Bandit’s Curved Sword perfect for Dexterity/Strength builds, our favorite approach is to focus on a Bleed build. Pair it by dual-wielding two of these swords, upgrading both with Occult.

Utilize the White Mask to boost your attack damage whenever a bleed effect occurs, and don’t forget to equip the Rotten Winged Insignia and Lord of Blood’s Exultation talismans.

By applying the Seppuku Ash of War, you can create an incredible bleed build with the Bandit’s Curved Sword, making it an asset that will see you through even the toughest NG+ encounters with ease.
