Note: Though a Gyro NPC is present throughout the map, this ability is standalone and not tied to any quest.
How to Get Standless Spec
First, ensure you have space in your inventory for a new ability. In the starting area known as the Park, locate Enrico Pucci, who is near the trees in the center.
To acquire Standless, interact with him and select the option "Give me standless." Doing so will add the Standless Spec to your inventory and automatically switch your current ability to it.
How to Obtain the Altered Steel Ball
Next, you’ll need to find the Altered Steel Ball, an Epic Item that can be obtained from Epic Chests or higher. These chests can be found across the map, but your chances of finding them significantly improve when defeating tougher enemies. Here’s how to increase your odds:
Where to Find an Epic Chest
While in the Park, move in the direction that Pucci is facing until you reach a soccer field surrounded by waterfalls. From there, climb the cliff to the side.
Once you’re at the top, head towards the Desert area where Curses will spawn. These enemies are your targets, and we suggest switching to your strongest ability to defeat them easily.
Tip: Curses are the highest-level regular enemies in the game, which means they have the best chances of dropping Epic Chests. Be prepared, as they are tough to defeat.
Note: You may need to defeat several groups of enemies before an Epic Chest appears. When you find one, keep in mind that it doesn’t guarantee an Altered Steel Ball drop, so be ready for a bit of luck.
Once you secure the Altered Steel Ball, switch back to Standless. Do not place the item in your bank; instead, use it directly as you would an Arrow while Standless is equipped. This will transform your Standless Spec into Steel Spin.
Steel Spin Moveset and Combos
Steel Spin is surprisingly powerful for how easy it is to get. The damage it inflicts is on par with Mythic abilities, and its moveset is simple yet effective. Here’s a breakdown of its abilities:
