Pokémon Go has just rolled out two exciting new variations: Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma, which result from a unique Pokémon fusion. This month, Pokémon Go is organizing an exclusive Raid Day, showcasing both Necrozma forms along with various bonuses.
This special event, known as the Necrozma Fusion Raid Day, will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. This means the event will last for only three hours. Participants can look forward to several enticing bonuses and features; keep reading for all the details!
Featured Pokémon: Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings Necrozma
During this special Raid Day, both Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma will be plentiful. You can expect to see raids for both forms at most Raid locations, providing ample opportunity for encounters.
Successfully defeating one of these raids will grant you an encounter with Necrozma, with a chance to catch this elusive Pokémon. The Necrozma you battle in these raids will also feature enhanced odds of being Shiny, making this a perfect chance to snag this unique variant.
Additionally, completing either style of raid will provide you with Fusion Energy, needed for Pokémon fusion. Completing a Dusk Mane raid will net you Solar Fusion Energy, while Dawn Wings raids will yield Lunar Fusion Energy.
To fuse Necrozma and Solgaleo into Dusk Mane Necrozma, you’ll need 1,000 Solar Fusion Energy, 30 Cosmog Candy, and 30 Necrozma Candy.
For the fusion of Necrozma and Lunala into Dawn Wings Necrozma, gather 1,000 Lunar Fusion Energy, 30 Cosmog Candy, and 30 Necrozma Candy.
Raid Day Bonuses
During this three-hour Raid Day, there will be two active bonuses for all players, supporting you in tackling more raids during the limited time. These bonuses are:
- Receive five additional free Raid Passes from Pokémon Gym Photo Discs.
- Utilize up to 20 Remote Raid Passes on event day (from Friday, December 13, at 5 PM PST to Saturday, December 14, at 8 PM PST).
Raid Day Ticket
An event ticket will be available for purchase for the Necrozma Fusion Raid Day, enhancing the overall experience. You can buy this ticket in the Pokémon Go in-game shop for $5.00 USD.
Buying this ticket unlocks four additional bonuses on top of the free offerings:
- Eight extra Raid Passes obtainable from Pokémon Gyms.
- Double Stardust earned from completing raid battles.
- 50 percent more XP awarded for completing raid battles.
- Higher chances of acquiring Rare Candy XL from successful raids.
These bonuses will be in effect on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2 PM to 10 PM local time.
