Exciting news for Pokémon fans! You can now receive a Shiny Enamorus and a Shiny Manaphy for free in Pokémon HOME. However, there are certain steps you need to follow to claim these gifts. While free distributions of Shiny Legendary and Mythical Pokémon aren’t new, they are typically hard to come by. In fact, many of these Shiny Pokémon can only be acquired during special events, as most aren’t accessible without cheating. For instance, Enamorus is among the Shiny-locked Pokémon available in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
As for Shiny Manaphy, it was previously obtainable through a somewhat unexpected method. Players could hatch Shiny Manaphy from Manaphy Eggs, but this was never the intended approach by Game Freak. In reality, apart from this unexpected method, Manaphy has generally been regarded as Shiny-locked. Now, as part of a special ongoing event, players can obtain this Water-type Mythical Pokémon, but there are requirements to meet first.
How to Get Shiny Enamorus
Obtaining Shiny Enamorus in Pokémon HOME Requires Completing the Hisui Pokédex
To claim Shiny Enamorus in Pokémon HOME, you’ll need to complete the Hisui Pokédex within the app. Completing this Pokédex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus won’t suffice; you must do it in Pokémon HOME. Once you have registered all the Pokémon in the Hisui Pokédex within the app, you’ll be eligible to claim Shiny Enamorus at no cost. Remember to check the Games tab in your Pokémon HOME app to confirm your Pokédex completion.
If you have completed it already, you’re still in line to receive the reward. The Shiny Enamorus will be delivered to your account through a Mystery Gift. It’s crucial that your Pokémon HOME is linked to a Nintendo account. This Shiny Enamorus is a one-time reward for each Nintendo account. After claiming it, you can transfer Shiny Enamorus to Pokémon Legends: Arceus or any other compatible game featuring this Legendary Pokémon.
How to Get Shiny Manaphy
Complete the Sinnoh Pokédex in Pokémon HOME
Getting Shiny Manaphy requires following a similar process, but it involves completing a different Pokédex. To claim Shiny Manaphy in Pokémon HOME, you need to complete the Sinnoh Pokédex in the app. Just like with the previous reward, finishing the Sinnoh Pokédex in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl won’t count; you must confirm its completion in Pokémon HOME.
Once you’ve completed the Sinnoh Pokédex, the Shiny Manaphy will also be sent to your account via Mystery Gift. This gift can only be claimed once per Nintendo account. After that, you can transfer Shiny Manaphy to your favorite Pokémon games. The rewards for completing the Pokédex, including Shiny Enamorus and Shiny Manaphy, were introduced in the Version 3.2.2 update. Fortunately, there’s no time limit to claim these rewards—the distribution of Shiny Enamorus and Shiny Manaphy in Pokémon HOME is a permanent offering.
