To solve the mystery of the Indiana Jones Seat of Eternity, you need to find and place four Canopic Jars on the right pedestals to unlock a sarcophagus. The challenge lies in locating these jars since they are hidden throughout the tomb complex, requiring you to utilize Indy’s whip and some inventive problem-solving. While opening the sarcophagus may not yield fantastic rewards, you will earn a generous amount of Adventure Points. Here’s a straightforward guide to cracking the Canopic Jar puzzle in Indiana Jones.
Indiana Jones Seat of Eternity Puzzle Solution
Your goal is to discover four Canopic Jars and position them on pedestals that depict the same artwork seen on the jars’ heads. Once you’ve located all four jars, place them in the following order from left to right: Human, Falcon, Jackal, and Baboon.
Finding the Canopic Jars
- Falcon Jar: This one is almost impossible to overlook. It lies right beside the sarcophagus on the ground.
- Jackal Jar: To get this jar, head through a gate at the far end of the entrance corridor. Use the whip on the metal ring to lift the gate, and pick up the Jackal Canopic Jar lying on the floor. You’ll need to toss it across a pit to reach the sarcophagus.
- Human Jar: This jar is found in the pit you swung over to get to the sarcophagus. Drop into the pit to grab it, then throw it towards the sarcophagus. You can use the whip to climb back out, pick up the jar again, and take it to the right pedestal.
- Baboon Jar: This jar is hidden behind a destructible wall at the end of the main corridor. To break down the wall, grab a metal rod in the pit where you found the Human Jar and use it to destroy the wall. Continue down the dark corridor until you reach the Baboon Canopic Jar.
Completing the Puzzle
After placing all jars correctly, the sarcophagus will open, revealing one of the many Ancient Relics scattered throughout Gizeh. Collecting this relic grants you 80 Adventure Points and successfully completes the Seat of Eternity Mystery, awarding you an additional 225 Adventure Points. In total, you will earn 305 Adventure Points, which can aid you in unlocking some valuable resources for Indy.
