In Warframe, players journey back to the final day of 1999, where Doctor Entrati conducted experiments on human subjects, injecting them with the Technocyte virus to create what are known as protoframes. These former volunteers are now in pursuit of Entrati, demanding answers for what was done to them. Your mission will be to delve into the past to uncover the events of that time.

Introducing The Hex Syndicate

In Höllvania, you’ll encounter a new Syndicate named The Hex, made up of individuals striving to maintain their sanity as the year approaches its end, alongside the impending doom of their crumbling city. Here’s what you need to know about The Hex.

What Is The Hex?

The Hex is a Syndicate based in the Höllvania Central Mall during 1999. This group is on a quest to find Albrecht Entrati, who they believe can reverse the effects of the Technocyte virus they have contracted. The members of The Hex include:

• Arthur Nightingale – Codename: "Broadsword"

  • As the leader, Arthur is a strong-minded individual who values his life but refuses to sacrifice others for it, often leading to conflicts with his team.

• Eleanor Nightingale – Codename: "Salem"

  • Arthur’s sister and the psychological operations expert of The Hex, Eleanor shares a mysterious connection with the techrot that the group is reluctant to explore.

• Aoi Morohoshi – Codename: "Chopper"

  • The bubbly mechanic and second-in-command, Aoi brings a sense of fun to an otherwise dark atmosphere.

• Quincy Isaacs – Codename: "Stepper"

  • The group’s sniper, Quincy, has a tough exterior but hides a caring heart, lending support to his teammates from a distance.

• Amir Beckett – Codename: "Jitter"

  • An electronics technician and gamer, Amir is a Volt-related protoframe, granting him strong electric and speed abilities.
• Leticia Garcia – Codename: "Belladona"
  • The group’s sole medic and strategist, Lettie is a Trinity protoframe with impressive healing powers and a fiery attitude.

Unlocking The Hex Syndicate

You can access this Syndicate once you complete the main story quest of 1999. After your time travel adventure, you’ll be able to rewrite the grim ending that The Hex experienced during the quest, leading to new possibilities. This will allow you to use the retro computer within your orbiter to access various menus and travel to the mall to interact with the characters and discover their offerings.

How to Rank Up

To level up within the Syndicate, you must fulfill bounties and earn Syndicate Standing. You start at Rank 0 with a maximum of 5,000 Standing. Once you reach this limit, you’ll need to offer specific items and Hollars to advance to the next rank.

Hex Treasures

For extra Standing, you can trade specific Hex Treasures with Lettie. These treasures can be found during missions and bounties in Höllvania:

As you progress in ranks, you’ll be able to buy various items from Amir, Aoi, Quincy, Lettie, and Eleanor. Here are some details about what they offer.

Amir provides Glyphs, Weapon Blueprints, and Warframe Blueprints:

Relationship and Romance System

Once you unlock the Syndicate, your retro PC will feature a chat platform where you can interact with each character. You’ll see initial messages that require responses, impacting your relationship with them. After each chat, you can send gifts based on what you’ve learned about them, yielding better outcomes.

Additionally, participating in bounties will boost your chemistry with specific characters, allowing them to join you on missions.

It’s important to note that while romantic relationships are possible, you can also choose to befriend the members of The Hex instead.
