It may seem like a daunting fight unless you’re at a significantly higher level, but in reality, defeating him isn’t as challenging as it appears.
The trick lies in understanding his tactics. The best strategy to overcome Zorba is to turn his own game plan against him. By assembling the right team and being well-prepared, you can effectively dominate the battle in your favor. Ideally, you should already have the necessary Archetypes in your party by the time you face him.
Before you step into the Regalith Grand Cathedral to confront Zorba, it’s important to make the right preparations in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Focus on assembling a party that includes a warrior, healer, and knight to set yourself up for victory.
A warrior’s Slash attacks can deal huge damage, while a healer will be essential for keeping your party alive, especially since Zorba’s corpses hit hard. The knight is crucial, as they can use the Jump Thrust move in tandem with the warrior, effectively lowering Zorba’s defense. Additionally, the knight’s Proclamation ability helps draw Zorba’s attention away from your more vulnerable team members.
Make sure to consider inherited skills too. Utilizing Fire magic through Inheritance, or using an Igniter, will give you an overwhelming advantage against the Corpsethralls. Don’t hesitate to grind a bit to level up your party, particularly the warrior, as aiming for Level 17 before the battle is ideal.
