With the upcoming permanent closure of the PlayStation Store for PS3 and PS Vita, gamers are now gathering a list of digital titles available for download on PS5 and PS4. The store is set to shut down in all regions by July 2027, so users have until then to buy any games that may be delisted before the shutdown.
Reddit user Ok_Illustrator_2778 has generously compiled a list of PS1 and PSP classics that can be downloaded for free on PS5 and PS4 if purchased now. Additionally, there are digital PS3 titles that either include cross-buy options with PS4 (allowing play on PS5 via backward compatibility) or offer free upgrades.

“As the PlayStation Store adapts to support modern commerce systems, including updated payment processing standards, PS3 and PS Vita cannot sustain these updates at the necessary level,” Sony stated recently. “We recognize that this news might be disappointing to PS3 and PS Vita fans who hold these generations close to their hearts. PS3 and PS Vita mark a significant chapter in our PlayStation history, and making this decision was not easy for us.”
