A pair of 2023 PS4 adventure titles may soon be taken down from PlayStation’s digital stores for an indefinite period. Creepy Tale 1 and 2 (also playable on PS5) have already been removed from some platforms and delisted from players’ libraries due to a dispute between developer Creepy Brothers and publisher No Gravity Games.
In a tweet on X, Creepy Brothers announced that the first two Creepy Tale games are set to be delisted from the PlayStation Store soon. This removal process is happening across all platforms because No Gravity Games allegedly violated the terms of their agreement and has not paid royalties for several years.
While the games still appear on the PS Store at the moment, they are no longer available on the Xbox Store. Reports indicate that only players who previously installed the titles can still access and play them, as they have been forcibly removed from digital libraries.
Creepy Brothers hasn’t provided a detailed explanation for the removal. On X, the studio suggested that the delisting was intentional, with a tweet stating that users who already have the games installed will still be able to play them.
Further updates will be provided once more information becomes available.
