This can be challenging, especially if you’re unsure of what to search for, as three of the categories today are quite similar without some key insights. Yellow Answers: Revealed & Explained

BRAND-NAME

DESIGNER

HAUTE

HIGH-END

LUXURY

My first category today was not this one, as DESIGNER could easily relate to many terms. It took me some time to figure out where everything fit, but I eventually grouped this as my second category. Noticing the terms LUXURY and HIGH-END helped, leading me to HAUTE, and that looped back to DESIGNER. Although it felt tough, it was manageable thanks to the related terms throughout the puzzle.

DEVISE

CONCOCT

ENGINEER

HATCH

MASTERMIND

This was the third category I identified. At first, I thought DESIGNER and ENGINEER fit together, along with MASTERMIND. I had to think of these words as verbs rather than nouns to see a clearer distinction. Once I shifted my perspective, I was able to pinpoint CONCOCT and HATCH as the last two words, removing DESIGNER since it didn’t match the verb theme, completing the category.

Blue Answers: Revealed & Explained

NASA SPACECRAFT

GALILEO

PIONEER

VIKING

VOYAGER

My father would probably guess this category before I could, as he has always been more in tune with NASA news. I got this category last mainly because I thought words like PIONEER and VOYAGER were connected to ENGINEER and DESIGNER at first. I initially associated GALILEO with a historic figure and thought it might fit better with MARCO POLO in a different category. Despite having no other obvious proper names, my earlier thoughts linked it to VIKING or VOYAGER for their significances in their respective fields, but it actually pertained to spacecraft.

BINGO

TAG

UNO

Having played most of these games, I realized that UNO causes relationships to end in heated competitions! This category was the first I solved. It was UNO that sparked my thought process, followed by BINGO and my childhood memories of MARCO POLO during summers by the pool—definitely more hazardous than it seemed at the time. TAG was the last to click, but it wasn’t any less significant as it had been cleverly mixed in with larger words.
