A new adventure game inspired by Indiana Jones has just been released for PS5. The game combines the excitement of classic Jones-style adventures with thrilling action sequences and puzzle-platforming challenges.
The game, titled Lifted, is developed by Adventure Works and is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC. Fans can also expect a future release on Nintendo Switch 2.
Lifted draws inspiration from vintage adventure movies, with creator Jeffrey Ashbrook—who previously worked on popular Disney Parks attractions like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run—leading the project.
The storyline follows duo Ari Buktu and Professor Lionel Raventhorpe as they embark on an “epic journey through time and space” to find a legendary tiara, a perfect gift for Miss Barton, Professor Raventhorpe’s romantic interest.
According to the official game description, players can expect “a journey reminiscent of ’80s blockbusters, filled with daring escapades but none of the violence. Explore breathtaking locations from 1818 Egypt to ancient Mayan civilizations. Solve challenging puzzles, pull off hilarious antics, and dodge some of history’s most notorious troublemakers to uncover the treasure.”
