In the game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, players can engage in a side quest where the iconic adventurer hunts for boxing rings around the world, battling tougher foes in hand-to-hand fights. These boxing matches present some of the game’s most challenging combat scenarios, but they also offer lucrative rewards such as cash and rare items that enhance your skills after each bout. You’ll find a boxing ring in every major region, starting with one at the Vatican followed by another in Gizeh.
Before you can join the fights or claim your rewards, players must find a way to enter each of the three boxing rings. Each ring has specific entry requirements, so you’ll need to gather the appropriate disguise and locate a hidden entrance. Here’s how to gain access to the boxing ring in Gizeh while playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Finding the Underground Boxing Ring in Gizeh
Locating the Ring
The Gizeh boxing ring, also known as the Knuckle Duster Den, is situated in the northeastern region of the Gizeh Village area. From the market, make your way up the stairs heading east, and then take a right. You’ll be looking for a building that has weathered blue paint adorned with several Nazi posters near its entrance, located toward the end of the block. To access the boxing ring, descend the stairs found inside and approach a door equipped with a small peephole. However, if you’re not dressed appropriately, you’ll need to secure a disguise first.
You can spot the Gizeh boxing ring as soon as you unlock this section of the main campaign during the mission titled “The Idol of Ra.” However, getting into the ring is another story.
Locating a Wehrmacht Uniform
Gaining Access to the Gizeh Boxing Ring
To enter the Gizeh boxing ring, you’ll need a Wehrmacht Uniform to blend in with the Nazi patrons. You can find this uniform near the Temple Excavation Site, located in the northern part of the village. You should be able to access this area during “The Idol of Ra.” If you come across the uniform first, it’s advisable to grab it before attempting to enter the boxing ring.
Head to the location indicated on the map above, where you’ll encounter a small guard tower. Navigate around to the left side as it appears in the image and look up to find a spot suitable for using your whip. Perform this action by pressing RB, and then climb the tower by using the whip and the wall (hold RT and move the left stick upward).
Once near the top, you’ll be able to grab onto a ledge. While hanging, shimmy to the right until you reach an open window. Climb through and look for a nearby ladder. Descend the ladder to the ground floor of the tower, where you’ll find the Wehrmacht Uniform on a table. Make sure to collect the Wehrmacht Key sitting next to it as well. While this key isn’t necessary to enter the boxing ring, it may prove useful for opening certain doors in Gizeh.
Wearing the appropriate uniform can aid Indy in sneaking through restricted areas that Nazis occupy.
Once you have the uniform, return to Gizeh Village and the boxing ring. Press right on the D-Pad to view your available disguises, then select the Wehrmacht Uniform. Descend the stairs and interact with the locked door. A Nazi guard will peer through the peephole, inspect you momentarily, and then let you in. Just like the Vatican boxing ring, you’ll be able to compete in a series of fights here as well. Triumph in all matches to earn fantastic prizes, including skill books and cash.
Now you have all the information you need to access the boxing ring in Gizeh. The real challenge lies in winning the fights, as they can be quite difficult. Make sure to use food items to boost your health and stamina prior to the matches. By defeating all your opponents in Gizeh, the Vatican, and Sukhothai, you’ll unlock the Tour de Force achievement, celebrating your boxing victories in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
