The annual Fashion Week Event in Pokemon Go has arrived, showcasing stylish Pokemon dressed in unique costumes. Alongside these special Pokemon, players can expect some exciting bonuses and features to enhance their gaming experience, including the debut of a couple of new Pokemon.
This year’s Fashion Week Event will take place over a week, starting from Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10 AM local time until Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8 PM local time. The event will feature a mix of new and returning elements, so read on to find out how to get the most out of this exciting occasion.
Pokemon Go Debuts
This year, two costumed Pokemon will be making their first appearance: Minccino in a stylish outfit and its evolution, Cinccino, also sporting a fashionable look. Players can catch Minccino in a themed One-Star Raid. After capturing this Pokemon, you’ll have the chance to evolve it into Cinccino while maintaining its costume.
Event Bonuses
During the event, there will be two notable bonuses for all participating players:
- Double Stardust for catching any Pokemon.
- Double the chance of receiving Candy XL from Pokemon catches (for Trainers Level 31 and above).
Additionally, five Pokemon will have increased chances of being shiny throughout the event:
- Kirlia in a fashionable costume
- Butterfree in a fashionable costume
- Dragonite in a fashionable costume
- Minccino in a fashionable costume
- Furfrou
Wild Encounter Pokemon
A variety of event-themed Pokemon will be making appearances in the wild during this time. Log in and join the festivities for a chance to catch the following seven Pokemon:

Field Research Tasks
By spinning different PokeStop Photo Discs during the Fashion Week Event, you’ll collect Event Field Research Tasks. Complete these tasks for XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.
Event Collection Challenge
There will be an Event Collection Challenge for all players to complete during the event. You’ll need to catch specific event-themed Pokemon to finish this challenge, and your reward will include an encounter with Shinx in a fashionable costume and XP.
