Monster Hunter Wilds offers various side quests as you progress toward the High Ranks. While many of these quests involve hunting specific monsters, some will require you to collect particular items.
One such side quest is called Make Fluffy Dealings. For this quest, you need to deliver a Vibrant Pelt+ to a cheerful Wudwud named Plumpeach, who can be found in the Scarlet Forest. Although gathering a Vibrant Pelt+ can be tricky, having some tips can make it a lot simpler.
Starting the Make Fluffy Dealings Side Quest
You will receive the Make Fluffy Dealings side quest from Plumpeach, the leader of the Wudwuds, after you’ve achieved High Rank status. You can find Plumpeach inside the Wudwud Hideout in the Scarlet Forest, and he will be dressed in pink Congalala fur.
Plumpeach will request that you bring him a Vibrant Pelt+. To obtain this item, you’ll need to hunt a Congalala. Once you have collected the pelt, head back to Plumpeach to complete the quest.
How to Obtain a Vibrant Pelt+
First, you’ll need to locate a Congalala in the Scarlet Forest or complete an optional quest that involves hunting a High Rank Congalala. While battling the monster, focus your attacks on its head, as breaking its head guarantees a Vibrant Pelt+ drop.
You can also acquire a Vibrant Pelt+ by inflicting damage on its other wounds, but breaking its head is the most reliable method. After you’ve successfully obtained the item, return to Plumpeach in the Wudwud Hideout in the Scarlet Forest area.
Rewards for Completing the Make Fluffy Dealings Side Quest
Upon delivering the Vibrant Pelt+ to Plumpeach, you will successfully complete the quest and receive a Delishroom and three Truffle Du Conga as your rewards. Additionally, after finishing the side quest, Plumpeach will be able to assist you in gathering more materials.
