Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has unveiled a new card set, introducing fresh Secret Missions for players to tackle. This week, Pokémon TCG Pocket launched the Triumphant Light set, themed around the Mythical Pokémon Arceus. Alongside thirteen regular themed missions, Triumphant Light features four secret missions that reward players for collecting the rarest cards from this set.

Similar to earlier Secret Missions in TCG Pocket, the secret missions for Triumphant Light center around acquiring various Illustration Rare or Secret Illustration Rare cards. One downside is that there is no official way to track your mission progress, as these Secret Missions do not show up in the Missions menu. However, players will automatically receive rewards when they complete the necessary tasks, so they should focus on gathering those elusive rare cards to fulfill these missions.

Complete List of Triumphant Light Secret Missions

There Are Four Secret Missions to Complete in Triumphant Light

The four secret missions for Triumphant Light are:
  • Triumphant Light Museum 1
  • Triumphant Light Museum 2
  • Triumphant Light Museum 3
  • Ancient Records

The first three missions involve the typical tasks of “collecting Illustration Rare cards/Special Illustration Rare cards.” In contrast, the Ancient Records mission centers on gathering Legendary and Mythical Pokémon cards found in the new set. Additionally, players must collect the Celestic Town Elder, a powerful new Trainer card that allows for retrieving a Basic Pokémon from the discard pile into a player’s hand.

Tips for Completing All Triumphant Light Secret Missions

Regularly Pull Cards and Utilize Wonder Picks Whenever Possible

There’s no straightforward method to acquire all the necessary cards for these missions. Trading is not an option since Triumphant Light isn’t currently tradeable in TCG Pocket. However, players can try to grab Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare cards from the new set using Wonder Picks. Expect to find plenty of Wonder Pick opportunities during the early days of this set, as the rewards will include numerous Wonder Hourglasses. Don’t hesitate to use a Wonder Pick if you require a card for these missions.

Triumphant Light Museum 1

Houndoom from Triumphant Light

The first mission, Triumphant Light Museum 1, requires you to collect all the Illustration Rare cards from the set. Unlike other sets that may have numerous Illustration Rares, this one consists of just six such cards, making it relatively simple to complete this mission. The rewards for this mission include 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, and 10 Shop Tickets.

The following cards are necessary to complete Triumphant Light Museum 1:

  • Houndoom Illustration Rare
  • Marill Illustration Rare
  • Unown Illustration Rare
  • Sudowoodo Illustration Rare
  • Magnemite Illustration Rare
  • Shaymin Illustration Rare

Triumphant Light Museum 2

The mission for Triumphant Light Museum 2 involves collecting a limited number of Special Illustration Rare cards. Given the smaller set size, there aren’t too many cards to gather. Since these Special Illustration Rares are rarer, it’s wise to take advantage of any Wonder Picks you come across that include one of these cards. While they cost four Wonder Stamina to use, this is a worthy investment for a better chance at snagging rare finds. Completing this mission also offers rewards of 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, and 10 Shop Tickets. You’ll need the following cards for this mission:

  • Leafeon ex Special Illustration Rare
  • Glaceon ex Special Illustration Rare
  • Garchomp ex Special Illustration Rare
  • Probopass ex Special Illustration Rare

Triumphant Light Museum 3

The final mission in Triumphant Light Museum focuses on collecting different Arceus cards. There are five Arceus cards available in this set, including everything from a standard Arceus to the highly sought-after Arceus ex Gold Crown card. Fortunately, the set features both Immersive and Gold Crown versions of Arceus, so acquiring one of these rare cards is sure to advance your progress on this mission. Rewards for this task include 36 Wonder Hourglasses, 12 Pack Hourglasses, and 10 Shop Tickets. To complete the mission, you’ll need to collect the following cards:

  • Arceus
  • Arceus ex
  • Arceus ex Full Art
  • Arceus ex Immersive
  • Arceus ex Gold Crown

Ancient Records

Celestic Town Elder from Triumphant Light

The concluding Secret Mission is a unique thematic task that revolves around gathering various Legendary and Mythical Pokémon from the set. Most of these cards are standard ones, making them relatively easy to obtain.

However, the last card in the set is a Full Art variant of the new Celestic Town Founder trainer card, which will be the hardest card to collect. This mission rewards players with a new Shaymin emblem. For this mission, players need the following cards:

  • Heatran
  • Origin Forme Palkia
  • Origin Forme Dialga
  • Giratina
  • Arceus ex
  • Shaymin Art Rare
  • Celestic Town Founder Full Art

Thanks to the small set size, none of the missions in Triumphant Light are particularly daunting. Keep drawing cards and trying for Wonder Picks if you want to complete these missions before the next Pokémon TCG Pocket set is released in April.
