After journeying through the various realms in Fantasian Neo Dimension, you’ve finally reached the God Realm. This is the last segment of the game, and while it’s not particularly lengthy, it certainly presents a challenge.
The God Realm is filled with strange features, including replicas of the other realms. These areas and their challenges make up most of the God Realm. This is your final destination before facing Jas, so let’s dive in.
Exploring The Simulated Realms
As soon as you step into the God Realm, you encounter a barrier that requires you to defeat the bosses at the end of each simulation first. The group splits into three different realms, as follows:
- Human Realm – Kina, Cheryl, and Leo.
- Machine Realm – Prickle and Ez.
- Chaos Realm – Valrika, Zinikr, and Tan.
The Dimengeon is turned off in this area, so you must fight every enemy you encounter. You’ll want to move through this realm quickly, which involves continuously jumping between the three simulated realms, gathering items in each to help you progress in the next. We’ll begin our journey in the Human Realm.
As you advance, look for an item positioned between two cliffs. If you climb the hill, you’ll find some cables nestled between another set of cliffs. Next, head to the post and transition to the Chaos Realm.
Move forward to discover a slab located between two hills. Use the newly-found cables to cross the ravine and uncover additional cables before heading to the Machine Realm.
Continue along the slab to discover a wooden plank. That’s all you can find for now, so return to the Human Realm.
Cross the log to find two Whetstones in a chest. Move forward from this hill to locate another slab between two cliffs. Next, head back to the Machine Realm.
Climb to the top of the ladder and cross the slab to the right to discover a set of cables next to the realm-switching post. Continue left and descend the last ladder to find more cables. Climb back up and head south, then further left to uncover a log.
Now it’s time to go back to the Chaos Realm.
Travel up the hill and cross left to find a wooden log, along with Deus Augite in a chest. Proceed to the left of that location to discover a new realm-switching post and a slab. It’s time to return to the Human Realm.
Once again, climb the original hill and move left to locate another slab. Now, jump back to the Machine Realm.
Return to the beginning and cross the slab to find a wooden log, along with two Order Motes in a chest. It’s time to head back to the Human Realm.
Make your way to the left to find a slab by the new realm-switching post, then cross the newly-placed log to find Deus Augite in a chest. Now back to the Machine Realm.
Drop down to the lowest level and cross right to discover another item. Then, return to the Chaos Realm. You’re almost done!
Cross from the post to retrieve a wooden log in a chaos lake. Move south to find two pieces of Chaos Clay in a chest, and continue further south to find another post and a slab right below it. Time to head back to the Human Realm.
Navigate across the hill with the newly-placed log, and keep going south until you spot a slab on a hill. Drop lower to find another post along with a set of cables. Now, decide whether to explore the Machine Realm for treasure or the Chaos Realm for your next item.
Cross over from where you last picked up an item to uncover a chest containing Deus Augite.
Jump the gap from the post to discover another wooden log positioned around the corner. Back to the Human Realm again.
Go to the area situated between two hills with a newly-placed log to locate another set of cables. You’re nearing the end of your journey now. Return to the Chaos Realm to wrap things up.
Cross over the new cables to find a slab, then shift to the Machine Realm. Move left of the Save Point to find yet another wooden log before heading back to the Human Realm. This leads you to the last slab, allowing every member to reach their respective bosses.
You may tackle them in any desired order, but we opted to challenge the bosses from the Human, Machine, and Chaos Realms sequentially.
To change each member’s equipment, you must unequip them in their respective realms since the party is split up.
Defeating The Bosses In The Simulated Realms
How To Defeat God’s Compass
The first boss you encounter is God’s Compass. Fortunately, all three bosses are mechanically straightforward and don’t inflict overwhelming damage, given that you cannot change your party members at all. This means you’ll need to rely on specific strategies instead.
Start by equipping items that negate status ailments, like Crystal Quartz, Holy Belt, and similar items. This boss frequently casts Berserk and other status effects, so nullifying those concerns right away is beneficial.
The unique characteristic of this boss involves its shifting faces, which rotate each turn. Each face has a distinct effect, dealing fire, dark, or holy damage. The green and yellow masks heal the boss and apply berserk, respectively. You can counter all of these with the appropriate weaknesses.
Initially, the boss will only take one point of damage, but after you destroy all of its masks, it will start accepting normal damage. By the time you’ve destroyed all masks twice, the boss will be back to taking normal damage, allowing you to finish it off quickly.
A solid strategy is to eliminate all masks except the yellow one. This mask solely inflicts the berserk status, which prevents the boss from attacking effectively. The boss cannot restore any masks until all of them are taken down. Just be mindful of its powerful Judgment of God ability, which can be mitigated with a Barrier and some healing.
How To Defeat God’s Hand
This boss is the easiest of the bunch, likely because you have only two party members. As usual, Ez will serve as support while Prickle takes on the role of main attacker.
God’s Hand, who has a charming appearance, is quite straightforward. It attacks with either a physical strike or uses Holy. That’s pretty much the extent of it. The boss switches between offensive and defensive modes, which affects its base attack and defense stats. Occasionally, it may summon weaker enemies.
If you find the Holy damage to be overwhelming, feel free to equip some Diamonds to reduce the impact.
It’s genuinely quite simple. Using Bounce Field is helpful for maximizing damage with Plasma, which should also be your go-to skill against summoned enemies. Ez’s damage output is minimal, and his grenade damage is typically low, so it doesn’t make much of a difference here.
How To Defeat God’s Weapon
This is easily the toughest of the group, mainly due to the absence of dedicated support characters. While everyone has some healing options, it can be hard to justify using a turn on that. Designate one character, like Zinikr, to act as the healer during this battle since he’s primarily a tank and not focused on dealing damage.
The battle consists of two phases, though the initial one goes by quite quickly. The boss casts a 20-hit barrier on each of its weapons, leaving its center exposed. Once you destroy the center, it no longer casts barriers, but it also restores the center to full health.
From here, you can begin attacking the weapons. They utilize different attacks, but it’s crucial to concentrate your efforts on the left weapon first. This one has a move called Rock Breaker that hits all three party members and deals significant damage, so prioritize taking it down with Valrika’s attacks at the earliest opportunity.
The weapon on the right employs Break Shot and Random Shot. You can use Taunt to redirect damage towards Zinikr, allowing Valrika and Tan more time to deal damage.
The other major move to note is Glare of Petrification, so make sure to equip items that prevent this; losing even one party member can be devastating during this fight. Once all three components are destroyed, the boss will be slain.
Defeating God’s Predator
Now you can freely explore the Sanctum itself. The layout is quite linear, but it’s filled with God Chests. To open these, you need God Keys, which you can only find on Orblings in Shangri-La. If you’re interested in those chests, you may need to return later.
Inside the chests, you will find:
- Five Elixirs.
- Two SP Capsules.
- Another two SP Capsules.
- Three Deus Augite.
- Another three Deus Augite.
- Five more Deus Augite.
Be sure to save and recover, as you are about to confront the penultimate boss of the game – God’s Predator.
This encounter is tough, but manageable with the right setup. God’s Predator tends to inflict both Elemental Resist Down and Petrification, so having immunity to these effects makes the battle considerably easier.
As always, Ez will provide support while Cheryl uses her Concentrate-Double Charge-Darkness Strike combo for heavy damage. She can inflict an incredible amount of damage on the boss quickly, so ensure she’s kept healthy to prevent wasting turns on re-establishing her combo.
God’s Predator has a few notable moves to watch for. One is Draw Forth, in which it summons several enemies. Be sure to focus on eliminating them quickly, as the boss takes a break after summoning, granting you a chance to inflict damage. The other significant move is Consume, where it siphons a large portion of your HP and heals itself by the same amount.
The move to really keep an eye on is Insert, which will bury one of your party members in the ground. There’s no way to defend against this, and the member will be indisposed for the next several turns. When they return, they will be unharmed but petrified unless they have immunity.
Outside of a Radiance attack, the boss will repeat this pattern. Thanks to its high vulnerability to Darkness, Cheryl can take it down in no time. After overcoming this challenge, you’re ready to face Jas, the final boss of the game.
